HOW WE GET YOU OFF HINGE
When it comes to online dating, people are so busy matching that they’re not actually connecting, in person, where it counts. Hinge is on a mission to change that. So we built an app that’s designed to be deleted. Here’s how:
* We quickly learn your type. You’ll only be introduced to the best people for you.
* We give you a sense of someone’s personality. You’ll get to know potential dates through their unique answers to prompts, as well as information like religion, height, politics, dating intentions, relationship type, and much more.
* We make it easy to start a conversation. Every match begins by someone liking or commenting on a specific part of your profile.
* We want you to feel confident about meeting people in person. Selfie Verification makes it easier for daters on Hinge to ensure that they are who they say they are.
* We ask how your dates are going. After exchanging phone numbers with a Match, we’ll follow up to hear how your date went so we can make better recommendations in the future.
The app is free to use. Members looking to see everyone who likes them or send unlimited likes can upgrade to Hinge+. To access additional features, including enhanced recommendations and priority likes, we offer HingeX.

Before I could give feedback I deleted my account and I wish I hadn’t. Hinge is truly amazing and it’s worth paying for the app. The extras that you receive make all the difference in finding someone to delete the app with. A testimony from a friend meeting his wife on hinge led me to download the app. I met my fiancé on the app since then and we are getting married this weekend. If your aim is to really find an opportunity for love and you know yourself well enough to be ready for it, I truly believe you will have a chance at least to find the person you’re meant to be with on hinge. It’s an amazing app and holds up to its tagline about being made to be deleted.

Have no friends, just turned 40, female, introvert.Despite my apprehension, and against my better judgment I decided to create an account.Initially all went well, I went through the process of adding all my information, added 6 photos (6 is the minimum required or you won’t be able to use the "like/comment" functionality) and even went through the trouble of having my photos verified by Hinge.I began browsing profiles and interacted with a few, eventually matching with about 5 users.I had varying levels of conversation with each user, and unmatched with 2, as I found myself to be incompatible with their requirements.After having a fairly long conversation with 1 person, we called it a night (it was around 01:30/02:00AM in the morning) I closed the app and went to bed.When I woke up the following morning around 07:00, I received an Email from Hinge telling me that my profile had been BANNED, there was NO reason given.I have appealed my ban, and am currently awaiting a decision.And thus, I can only rate this app in parallel to my experience and treatment.Horrible.Honest user, just wanting to make some friends, I was nothing but kind and friendly to others.And this is why real people HATE dating apps, and the highly negative social impact they have.

I've been using Hinge for a while now, and it's definitely doing what it advertises - connecting me with potential matches based on shared interests and preferences. I've gotten a few matches here and there, which is great. However, I've got to say that I'm a bit underwhelmed by the overall experience. It's like something's missing, but I just can't quite put my finger on it. One thing that does bug me is that I sometimes see the same profiles pop up multiple times, which feels like a bit of a waste of time. Despite this, the app is user-friendly and the matches I've gotten have been decent. If Hinge could work on refining its algorithm to show me more new and interesting people, I'd probably bump up my rating. For now, it's an okay experience, but I'm not blown away.
