This update improves the connection stability of Emby / Jellyfin libraries, making multi-address route detection and automatic switching more reliable. It also fixes page compatibility issues in newer environments.

Faster, more stable playback Quick start prepares playback data in advance, with improved startup buffering and better handling of temporary network issues. Easier library management Libraries can be manually reordered, and hidden content settings are clearer, including whether hidden libraries appear in search. Better viewing experience Added player brightness memory and danmaku overlap prevention to reduce repeated adjustments and visual clutter. More reliable icons Library icons are saved locally, making them more stable and easier to recognize across search and management screens.

Playback is more stable: optimized playback startup, buffering, redirection, direct stream selection, progress restoration, and error messaging—reducing freezes, failed jumps, and unclear playback failures. Player interactions are smoother: improved responsiveness of fullscreen controls, episode switching, source selection, and panels for subtitles, audio tracks, and quality—making navigation more direct. Danmaku fully launched: supports source configuration, automatic matching and loading, in-player toggle, adjustable display area, and new low/high density settings to reduce clutter when there are too many comments. Episodes and detail pages are more usable: optimized episode cards, title display, resume entry points, layout, and navigation—making browsing and starting playback smoother. Library management is clearer: added connection issue prompts, library detection, hidden library management, and quick switching improvements—making issues easier to understand and resolve. Settings page is more structured: player, appearance, danmaku, hidden libraries, and more are better organized—making common options easier to find. Search and discovery are smoother: improved search suggestions, trending content caching, and background/image loading—reducing wait times and redundant loading. Mobile experience enhanced: details like global haptics toggle, and light/dark theme adaptation are more consistent.

Playback is more reliable: faster FVP fallback, safer cache stop, and fixed external subtitles (including Emby ASS). We also improved Discover/Library/Settings visuals, media-version sync, and moved playback info to the right.

· Discover is faster and more stable: cache and loading pipeline optimizations reduced wait time and cut down blank/loading stalls during entry and source switching · Library management is more intuitive: the page refreshes immediately after deletion; “last used” now updates not only on library switch, but also on real usage actions like opening details or starting playback · Media detail page is easier to use: it remembers the last selected Season N; episode card taps now show a clearer loading HUD; season/episode interactions are more consistent · Episode switching is smoother: switching to the next episode inside the player no longer feels like a full exit-and-reenter flow · Fullscreen immersion is more stable: fixed the status bar reappearing unexpectedly after episode switches · Playback stability is improved: added diagnostics and fault tolerance in FVP and cache-proxy paths, making timeout/exception scenarios more controllable · Watch-history reporting is more accurate: 0% progress is no longer reported, and the reporting threshold is raised to about 3 seconds to avoid false “watched” records on network stalls · TV-series preferences are more convenient: subtitle/audio selections are now remembered at the series level, so users don’t need to reselect every episode · “Similar content” on detail page is fixed: resolved the issue where it appeared on first entry but disappeared on second entry · Metric display is better localized: English removes the “+”; Chinese uses “w” for values >= 10,000 (for example, 11045 -> 1.1w), while values below 10,000 show full numbers with thousands separators

Smoother Playback Experience Overall playback is now more stable. When handling certain special or complex media sources, issues like playback failures, redirect errors, or unexpected interruptions are much less likely to occur. Playback controls, progress display, and buffering indicators have been refined, making interactions more intuitive and easier to follow. The screenshot feature has been improved, allowing you to capture frames more easily and save them directly to your system photo library. When playback issues occur, in-app feedback and reporting are now clearer. You’ll also see proper loading indicators, so it no longer feels like “nothing happened” after tapping. Improved Home & Discovery Experience The layout of the Home and Discovery pages has gone through multiple refinements, making information clearer and interactions more stable when tapping or switching between content cards. A more convenient way to switch between different media sources/libraries has been added, making it easier to browse across sources. Content sections and data presentation on the Home page have been optimized, with smoother refresh behavior and a clearer visual hierarchy. Fixed issues where certain card layouts, lists, and interactions could behave inconsistently. More Reliable Image & Artwork Display Network images and artwork now load more reliably, with smoother rendering and better fallback handling when issues occur, reducing blank states. Different content sources now have more recognizable icons, making them easier to distinguish at a glance. Settings & Account Security Improvements The Settings page has been reorganized for better navigation, with more consistent back button styling. Login and account security pages have been redesigned, making information clearer and easier to manage. Improved management for passwordless login and device credentials, with a cleaner card layout for easier viewing and control. More Consistent Visual Design The app icon now supports dark mode, providing a more consistent appearance across light and dark themes. The launch screen and various UI details have been refined for a more polished overall look. Naming and display styles across the app have been unified to reduce inconsistencies.
