The app is so easy to use it’s mind-blowing. I’m typically the person to download a few different apps offering similar features then pick my favorite. This was her first one I used and immediately deleted the rest because I knew this was the app for me. It is meticulous in the way it grades your cards and has features allowing you to search already made packs if you don’t want to make your own. You can study decks front to back and back to front and it grades them separately - a feature I was not expecting and am now loving. The cards are fully customizable from text colour to placement to size to image insertion. They are easy to make and easy to keep track of. I’ve seen a few reviews complain about having to write the tags out for each card which is valid but not a problem for me. Best of all:1 - your decks work offline and2 - there are not interrupting ads or pesky promotions to upgrade To sum it up: this is a simple app that does what it claims to do. Would fully recommend.

It would be nice if tags were easier to manage. I found that having to write a new tag that matches the grouping Im after is tedious. So like an option to add existing tags to a new deck would be nice. Other than that it’s a solid app
Good App with Glaring Flaws

I really like your app and use it often. The developers have designed the interface really well, and given a variety of different ways to review cards. Major credit is deserved for this.But please, for the love of god, fix the search function. I actually timed it, and it can take between 20 seconds to a whole minute to narrow down the search results to your keyword. Even if all the decks are downloaded, it can still take this long. I can usually find the word faster in the dictionary than AnkiApp can find it in my library. This coming from an Anki premium customer, please fix this function.

I enjoy the app, it’s incredibly useful, but I just wish I could fuse decks together, add pictures and audios, and also have finer control over my decks and how many cards from a very large deck would be released and reviewed per days or weeks. I’m using the one for iPad which I’ve learnt is not as functional and controllable as what you find on a PC or laptop. I don’t have a computer, so this is a great disadvantage to me. If this IOS version could be improved so it’s comparable to Anki at its most functional and extensive capabilities on other devices, then that would be great.
- Added a new full-screen card editor for mobile with improvements to mobile editing for rich text, code, fill-in-the-blank, drawing, media, and Japanese fields, including easier furigana override entry. Go to the Setting screen to enable
- Faster app startup
- CSV imports now default the new deck name from the selected file name and handle special characters in deck titles more reliably
- Custom deck template edits are now labeled as custom instead of keeping the original preset name
- Fixed the command bar so it only opens for the active screen
- Fixed review screen spacing for the progress HUD and card tags
