Downloadable content!! Finally! Can save and read my archived or listed articles on a flight, in the mountains where there is spotty signal. Whilst I am leaving a review, the content creators (wide spectrum) of solidly curated content are also great, it’s the only platform I’ve gladly paid a subscription fee to for literally years. Thanks to the devs for listening to the feedback and updating the app.

I love Medium but I’m afraid it seems to work better on web than the app. I find the app frustrating for blogging. It works for reading not so much writing.I can no longer type to add tags on a new post. It gives me a list of tags to choose from with no option to type in a new tag which is frustrating cos the list is short. We should have the option to type out our tags. As a result when I write on my phone I still need to go on my computer to add tags. Defeats the whole purpose.Then try adding pics to your post. The app is just frustrating. Surely it can be improved to make writing on it a simpler process just like it is on web.

Some writers (I don’t mean all) trying to sound appealing yet not fully understand situations but because they are entitled to a perspective say all sort of half truths and you can’t get to correct them if you are not a paying member. Sam Young with his not so worthy perspective on “if back lives matter article...Some things just shut up. Yes you can right a good story and take advantage of people’s ignorance of facts but someone of your skill make digital media untrust worthy. Anyway as long as you are all smiling away in your bubble. And getting paid continue clap....clap.

Medium is for me a 5 satrt read. However there is, I feel, room for an extra star in the form of some form of editorializing. Typically a great and credible publication not only provides for many voices but pulls them together in a web of meaning and context. Goos sober editorial content that considers the interplay and backgrounds to the varied articles will raise your media cred.
