I’ve been a paid MuseScore user for quite some time, and I absolutely love the platform. It has been an incredible resource for both my choir and band, helping us access sheet music, scores, and chords for countless songs. The app is easy to use, and the library of music is outstanding.One feature I would really love to see added to the mobile app is music notation/composition capabilities. Many musicians, including myself, rely heavily on tablets and mobile devices. Unfortunately, my PC is currently broken, which means I can’t use the desktop version of MuseScore to write or arrange music. Since the mobile app doesn’t currently support notation, I’m unable to fully utilize the platform for composition.Adding a notation feature to the app—especially for tablets—would be a game changer for composers, arrangers, choir directors, and band leaders who need to create and edit music on the go. It would make MuseScore a truly complete music solution across all devices.Thank you for creating such a fantastic platform. MuseScore has made a huge difference in my musical journey, and I look forward to seeing how it continues to grow.

Course videos are a nightmare

This app has many different components. The option to find sheet music is very useful, particularly in how it allows for auto-play, for you to try and follow along. However, the biggest let-down is the video component to the various courses. It is so buggy, it makes one simply give up in frustration. The videos seem to be stored on servers that cannot manage the access load. Videos frequently load to halfway seemingly, and then stop playing—to then only restart on a force-quit of the app (if you are lucky). But the absolute worst is where—if you do manage to get through 2,3 or 4 of the video lessons—unannounced, the player jumps back 2 or 3 videos (automatically, while you were watching), and just restarts in playing a video you have already watched. And it does this over and over again. It completely ruins the entire app experience, since you might be halfway through practising what the instructor is asking you to do, to show you the same intro video again and again. Skipping ahead to the next chapter, also doesn’t necessarily work—it simply repeats the same video that you were jumped back to. This app has great potential, given it reasonable price-point—but the video play side of things REALLY needs attention.

I downloaded this app thinking I could find simple sheet music by search and learn pieces with the help of the app. I was using the free trial version but found at the end of my free trial that the app had charged me R549 without notifying me. I then sent a mail requesting a refund and the mail sent back to me by a bot gave me instructions on how to go about this. I put in my information on the Refund Request Form and the site told me this infor mation of my account couldn’t be found. I then tried all my different emails and accounts and when I tried to verify these the email confirmation was not sent. I mailed multiple times to no avail and still did not receive my refund. On my Apple ID it shows that the subscription expired but there is no purchase receipt or confirmation whatsoever indicating I conciously made the purchase. I want my money back and also hope no one else goes through this. This app is good but cannot take money from an account without notifying the user.

This software is easy to use and you get everything you need. It produces music, and write lyrics along with notes. Produces best sound because it allows custom instrumentals , besides default instruments that it comes with it. You can communicate with the worlds and see how others work with it.
