What Insight Docs Does
Insight Docs is a lightweight, privacy‑first document‑scanning app that turns your iPhone into a powerful OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tool. Capture any paper, PDF or image and instantly extract the text, get a concise summary, and auto‑generate keyword tags – all performed locally on your device.
Key Features

How It Works
1 Scan a Document – Tap the “Scan Document” button, hold your iPhone steady, and let the app capture a clear image. The Vision framework automatically crops to the document edges.
2 Extract Text – Once captured, the app runs OCR on the image and displays the extracted text in a clean editor.
3 Summarize – The app generates a brief excerpt and keyword tags. The summary is shown in the same view, giving you instant context.
4 Save or Share – Hit “Archive” to add the entry to your archive, or use the share icon to send the text to Notes, Mail, WhatsApp, etc.
5 Retrieve Later – Open Read Archive. Use the search bar to find documents by tags.
