McDonald's 4+

This app has so much potential, but things just done make sense on it still. Take exclusive online offers, why these need to be redeemed in store is a head scratcher in my opinion. You would think the apply if you use the delivery service.

If you are unfortunately to make the mistake of ordering on McDelivery, prepare yourself for radio silence. After paying on the app, you order just gets the status update of “order received”. You don’t know what restaurant is handling your order and that’s the only status you’ll receive until all of a sudden you get an order delivered status. If you’re at this stage and you have not received your order well too bad. Good luck finding support to help you track down your order on a Sunday morning. Calling the number provided in app, gets you nowhere. Most of the support links in app are broken. How is this broken functionality a part of the app???

I’m writing this having spent an hour waiting for an order meant to arrive an hour ago. Please fix this or remove McDelivery. That functionality is not ready at all.

I’ve tried for the past week trying to create an account but it says “we’re sorry but there seems to be a problem with our system right now. Please check that you have installed the latest version of the app installed and try again in a few minutes.” I’ve tried what they said and it’s the latest version. I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the app over the past few days and it’s still not working.

It’s still not working and it’s been over a month now. Saying that I don’t have the latest version of the app when I do and it refuses to make an account. I downloaded the app on my fathers phone and he was able to make an account, however on my side on my phone it doesn’t work saying the issue above. This is really frustrating because as a student and with a McDonald’s right opposite campus I’m unable to use an app that would benefit and is convenient for me.

My go-to order is a McFeast and Mango Frappe, and I love how the app remembers my preferences for a seamless experience.
