Moody App
This app can be very frustrating. Right now I can’t claim my daily prize because it doesn’t respond when I click to claim my prize. As a result I can’t play the game. This happens too often and sometimes it will do the same when trying to redeem prizes.
The staff at McDonald’s don’t accept the use of the app during drive-thru purchases which defeats the point of enjoying a fast food service as I’m forced to wait in long queues during lunchtime.
Creating an account
I’ve tried for the past week trying to create an account but it says “we’re sorry but there seems to be a problem with our system right now. Please check that you have installed the latest version of the app installed and try again in a few minutes.” I’ve tried what they said and it’s the latest version. I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the app over the past few days and it’s still not working.
It’s still not working and it’s been over a month now. Saying that I don’t have the latest version of the app when I do and it refuses to make an account. I downloaded the app on my fathers phone and he was able to make an account, however on my side on my phone it doesn’t work saying the issue above. This is really frustrating because as a student and with a McDonald’s right opposite campus I’m unable to use an app that would benefit and is convenient for me.
SCAM! Tinbo Game Deals don’t work!
Don’t waste your time playing the Tinbo game to unlock the deals. It’s a scam. Once you get the required score, you have a 50-50 chance that the deals will actually show up under the Deals tab. If they do, GOOD LUCK trying to redeem them. They ALL keep giving the error message that they were already redeemed using a different account on the same device. Even if you just bought your iPhone and downloaded the McD app for the first time. They expire in a few days, so by the time you get around to emailing the head office for help, the deals would have already disappeared. IT’S JUST A SCAM. Check McDonalds South Africa’s Twitter replies, and you’ll see that ALMOST everyone is complaining about the same problem. It is not an isolated incident.
