I’ve been testing out this app for just over a week and am generally quite happy with it. What I like about the app:• The sleep tracker is great to see my baby’s sleep pattern and how to tweak his sleep routine based on age appropriate suggestions. • I don’t have to remember what time he wakes up or goes to sleep. There is an option to record sleep time while baby sleeps or enter the time manually after the fact. • The age appropriate feeding times and basic menu plans are very helpful. • The weekly articles are useful. Things that could improve:• I wish I could delete a sleeping or feeding entry log - sometimes I enter one by mistake but then cant delete it.• I’ve noticed the suggested routine is adjusted during the morning, based on baby’s wake time, but does not continue to adjust based on day naps during the day. This would be a great feature so I don’t have to continuously calculate appropriate nap schedules for most of the day. • The push notifications don’t always work.• I track feedings but can’t see any result of this so don’t see the point to adding this tbh.• you cannot access history older than 1 day, which is disappointing. Where does the data vanish to? Overall, I appreciate the simplicity of the app. The other ones I’ve tested are too complicated and overwhelming and make me feel more stressed about logging data. This one is clean and simple enough to just give the essential info. Most useful for sleep tracking and daily routine improvement. It’s worth downloading for the two week trial to see if it suits you. I kind of wish I’d used it when my 7 month old baby was younger to help with his nap scheduling. But it seems to have helped improve his daily routine in this last week alone. So overall I feel it is worth the subscription, but I do hope there will be some updates in the near future.

Really awesome feedback, thank you. The tracking functionality is being completely overhauled over the next few months. We are in the design phase of this. The next big release will incorporate recipes and meal plans for weaning. Hope you love it. I would love you to user test our tracking designs before development. If you are keen to give input, please email us. Info@megfaure.com
Good but could be better

When I first opened this app when my son was a newborn I was completely overwhelmed and closed it immediately. Instead I went back to a previous tracking app that I had used with my first - simple and free, but effective. Now that my son is 5 months old and we are venturing into the realm of solids, I’ve reopened the app and it seems that things have improved greatly.I do wish there was a pause function for the breastfeeding tracker. Even though my little one is attached to the breast for 10-20 minutes there are only about 5-8 minutes of active nursing. When stopping and then resuming a session on this app, it still only tracks total time between start and end time, not accounting for the pauses in between. With the way my little one nurses this can make a huge difference in timing over the course of a day. I also can’t seem to find anywhere to track wet/dirty diapers which is important when exclusively breastfeeding as there is no other way to gauge input vs output. It would be nice to preview the solids information before actually starting with solids, in order to prepare, which doesn’t seem possible. I had to ‘lie’ and say we had started solids in order to access the first week of suggestions. You also can’t access future week examples. For someone who likes to plan ahead and know what’s coming, that’s quite an unsettling feeling. Otherwise, the weight, vaccination and milestone trackers are fabulous. And the daily/weekly tips are age specific and helpful. If this app had the diaper tracker as mentioned above, I would happily rate it 4!

Such great feedback- thank you so much! Diaper tracking will launch in the next few months. The idea about previewing meals is very important and will definitely be worked into an update. Thank you for the candid feedback
Issue with notifications
Moosh87
While the app is useful logging feeds/sleeps I keep having an issue with the notifications. On the notifications page it only shows the previous days notifications. It would be helpful to be able to view these for the day and therefore plan accordingly. To not only receive the notification as she should be sleeping. She should have ideally be in her room and bed already before I receive the push notification. In addition, I log her wake up time but the app sometimes loses this information and I have to re-load it.I tried to log an issue on the app support before writing the review but the page re-directs me to a poker website when I try and fill in the information form :( I had wanted to pursue this channel before writing a review.

So pleased you are using the app, I think from your comment you may be on the free version as we do have a full daily routine on the app- hit the heart in the bottom middle to see it. In addition, we are overhauling our notifications strategy and will take this to heart. Please email us on info@parentsense.app as it would be great to get further insights into what you want to see in the notifications.
A game changer for parents!

I have been using the app for around a month now and am so enjoying it. Instead of trying to remember when last my baby fed or woke up, it’s all kept on the app for me to quickly refer back to. I particularly love that relevant articles are shared for ease of reference, so each week or developmental stage will have some information for me to read through easily. Meg Faure has the most wonderful way of encouraging gentle parenting without losing our sanity along the way! It really does take the guess work out of parenting and gives me such confidence that I’ve got a handle on things and am in control. I can’t recommend this app enough for all new parents!

Thank you so much for the super feedback. It gives me great pleasure that the app is making your parenting journey easier!
In this update, we’ve improved app performance to make loading faster and smoother. We’ve also made a few behind-the-scenes enhancements to keep everything running seamlessly.
As always, happy parenting!
