The old app worked beautiful, the podcasts were easy to find and worked even if the phone was locked. This new app is too clumsy first of all getting podcasts for a show has too many clicks and the when you do play the podcast you can’t lock your phone and play it simply stops until you open the phone again.Why break a working app to replace it with something that is not production ready and is too clunky.

Not sure what happened with the app a few months ago but it has really gone down hill. When it was first launched it wasn’t the best compared to the old CapeTalk app, but in the last few months it has really become worst. This morning while driving into work I heard the Absa ad many many times and I could hardly hear Lester as the sound for the presenter was almost off and the sound for the adverts was super high.I really do miss the old CapeTalk app as I never had these problems with sound before and at least the old app never played adverts over the traffic report or over other ad’s. It really is annoying when an advert starts and then another ad plays over it only to hear the last few second of the pervious ad when the over layer ad finishes. I would really love to have the old CapeTalk app back as that never had any issues or at the least, if they can just fix the sound and the stupid over played ad’s
The new app is not user friendly

I do not know why prime media had to complicate the new app, really confusing guys. I love John Perlman, his podcasts would put me to sleep every night. They would play continuously and I could choose for how many minutes I wanted to listen. Now I need to play one podcast and manually go to the next once it’s finished. I do not even know how to live stream, you’ve really complicated the app and changed the app for the worst I’m sorry. If it works, don’t change it.
App crashes/closes iPhone 15

I tapped on “app support” - doesn’t work. This app shows great promise of only the bugs can be ironed out. I listen to previous episodes often and this app does not stay open especially when my phone sleeps after a short while. What’s frustrating is that it doesn’t continue where it stopped - I have to scroll to whichever spot I last listened to. Terribly frustrating- please fix this !!!!
