#I’m Staying while in a Foreign Land
There are many South Africans forced by economic circumstances to live and work in other countries across the world. Our hearts remain in South Africa while we gladly accept the opportunities our host countries offer.
This app allows us to stay connected to all that we hold dear especially as SABC and DSTV is often a complicated affair dependent on the Host Countries Regional Streaming Laws for connectivity.
I am this grateful for an app that so readily combines the familiar thus keeping the homesickness at bay.
Great App
This is app is very convenient, I literally have SA radio stations in my hand. Great interface where you see all the stations not this thing of tuning from one station to another, if you want to listen to a station you just press on it’s icon. Great app I really give it a four star rating the other star is not given because the app needs internet to work.
Weird advertising since I got paid version
I enjoyed this app until I decided to support them and paid my R59. Since then all my favorite stations 702 and Cape Talk have become unlistenable due to 2 adverts; the first beginning with a baby screaming; both trying to sell internet fibre connections. They last at least a minute each and when trying to get a news bulletin cut into the headlines. The ads are programmed to go off each time you click on the station so if you go across to Safm when you return to cape Talk you have to listen through the entire 2 spots again. I can’t use this app anymore. Give me back the free version and keep the cash!
