The app is a nightmare lately. Most days you can’t log in. When you do manage to log in, you get kicked off almost immediately or it will tell something went wrong and just logs you out. It takes age (5min plus) to load a page. Seriously annoying. This app use to be brilliant, easy and convenient. Please fix.

I should have seen the warning signs. Almost nothing works. Deposited R100 and couldn’t use it to buy R100 worth of rows, so I had to deposit another R100 to play successfully. Playing your previous tickets is next to impossible as you have to select rows one by one, this should all be one click. You would expect that a concern of its size would at the least have a UX specialist involved with an app like this, but not Ithuba.
I have tried to cash out my remaining R100 but I could only get R90 from it because of unexplained charges. I used their Transfer to ATM feature and I was supposed to receive voucher SMSes from both Ithuba and my bank and nothing since yesterday.
The funniest thing is that I tried sending a message on their app and stated in it that I doubted that even the message would be transmitted and guess what? “Something went wrong”.
It’s like they did not even bother with QA!
After getting my money I’m uninstalling it.

The app is fine, when it works. Sometimes I am unable to log in. At all. And another issue I’ve encountered is that paying by bank card is highly buggy; I’ve not ever been wrongfully charged, but the payment process will often get so far, then simply not process the payment. I have to try every few hours and I’ve seen both the login and payment bug persist for days at a time.
