Online shopping fails at checkout

Have used this app frequently. Sadly there are two recurrent problems for me - both are at the checkout point for Click and Collect. Firstly the app hangs (often but not always) during the checkout procedure usually at the payment screen but sometimes earlier in the process. Secondly it would be better if your checkout info was retained on the app so when it does hang you don’t have to go through the entire procedure over and over again. There have been multiple occasions when I have had to scrap the Click and Collect order as I cannot get the payment through until the following day thus delaying my collection date. This means I then have to go into the store to shop. It rather defeats the object of non exposure to COVID. I have not experienced this problem when shopping online via my laptop only via my phone ((Apple)

Good but could be better

1. App is easy to use when shopping for clothes. However, you cannot view where the item is available in store when it’s out of stock online. It gives a message that it sold out, even if you change locations (provinces)

2. It’s not easy to return something because if it’s too small or too big, you’ll need to search for it yourself in store which is very cumbersome because of the above issues. They need to work on their returns and exchanges options like SUPERBALIST, theirs is meticulous and efficient.

3. They need to add more payment options cause buying with account only is quite annoying and will drive us away from purchasing from the app.

The function to change card details when paying my account with another card doesn’t work (greyed out) so now I am locked to a single card which I can’t change.

Speaking to support I am told that I need to log out and log in again (strange but ok) and then delete and download the app because I’ve had it for a long time and the app doesn’t prompt you to download new versions. Come into the App Store and not showing an update so delete and reinstall. Still not working… :(

The in app-chat functionality is also sub-par in that you can’t share a screenshot of the issue you are having and the agents manning the chat support don’t seem to know what they were doing Needed to be transferred from the first agent (after providing 3 verification pieces of info when I am chatting to them through an app that I need to sign into…) and the second agent just told me which menu items to select which I already knew. 30 minutes wasted and onto the call centre for help
