Online shopping fails at checkout
Have used this app frequently. Sadly there are two recurrent problems for me - both are at the checkout point for Click and Collect. Firstly the app hangs (often but not always) during the checkout procedure usually at the payment screen but sometimes earlier in the process. Secondly it would be better if your checkout info was retained on the app so when it does hang you don’t have to go through the entire procedure over and over again. There have been multiple occasions when I have had to scrap the Click and Collect order as I cannot get the payment through until the following day thus delaying my collection date. This means I then have to go into the store to shop. It rather defeats the object of non exposure to COVID. I have not experienced this problem when shopping online via my laptop only via my phone ((Apple)

Worst app ever
This app has caused me hours and hours of pain and frustration. So full of bugs and empty promises. One of the worst is that the delivery address randomly changes in the middle of my shopping. This has happened at least twice when the available time slot changed whilst I was shopping. However, there is no way to cancel the order even one second after it has been placed! Checkers has a nice red cancel order option. I had to phone and be on hold and give numerous details. I was assured that the order had been cancelled but no, it arrived to the wrong address shortly afterwards. The contact shopper button has never ever worked. The track driver option is intermittent. The search function - try searching for garlic and every single item remotely collected to garlic appears except for actual garlic which is way way down the list. Similar for strawberries and any number of fresh food items. The way to add items to the basket is also random. Sometimes clicking on the plus button adds the item. Sometimes a drop down menu appears. All feedback to Woolworths falls on deaf ears. Using this app is a constant and reliable source of annoyance whenever I shop online.
No favourites / frequently purchased section
Unlike other online grocery shopping apps there is no section decidated to “my shop” which features all the products you have previously purchased. Either you need to manually search for each and every single item on your shopping list and scroll through the search results for “ strawberry yoghurt” for example and wait for the new page to load as you get to the bottom of the search results, or you need to go to your past orders, click on and order, look to see if the particular item was in that order, and eventually when you find your past order with the item you can reorder it. There is a function to “reorder items” from a past order but this is order specific so you still need to tap into every past order to find the items you want. Would be so much easier if all your favourite or previously purchased items were easily accessible in one section so you can quickly click on which items you want to reorder. I expected more from Woolworths.
