Description
ZipZap is South Africa’s premier mobile card acceptance solution for smartphones and tablets that supports both Chip & PIN and mag stripe card transactions. In conjunction with the secure Bluetooth card reader and PIN pad, it enables businesses on the go the flexibility to accept credit and debit card payments on your iOS devices. All you need is to install the ZipZap App on your iPhone/iPad and the secure ZipZap card reader.
Please note that you need to apply for a Merchant Account in order to obtain the Bluetooth card reader and transact using this solution.

Bad version release
I have been in zip zap for 3 years and in the beginning the app was great to log onto. With my guests waiting at my reception to pay the app was quick to log onto and quick to process payment. But then they released this new version. What a disaster now it takes so long to log on and get the app to the pay screen. When one has customers standing waiting it gets embarrassing I wish they would revert back to the old app. Don’t fix what isn’t broken!

I’ve been using zipzap for about 2 years now and it worked really well however after the latest iPhone and Samsung update, the app has been giving issues. The app always freezers and then you have to go out and retry a number of times before it works.
