A real connection was suddenly taken away — please read before payingBecause of this app, something that was just beginning suddenly came to an end.I was a paid subscriber, yet my account was repeatedly banned during the subscription period without any clear explanation.Even when support temporarily restored my account, it was banned again shortly afterward. In one case, my account was banned again within less than 24 hours after simply resetting my password exactly as instructed.As a result, I suddenly lost contact with someone I had genuinely connected with, and plans we had made to meet in the near future disappeared overnight.This is not just a technical issue. It directly affects real human connections.On top of that, I was charged 8,600 yen for a service I could not use, while being repeatedly sent back and forth between OkCupid and Apple Support.This experience was deeply painful, highly stressful, and completely unacceptable.I truly hope no one else has to go through this.For anyone facing the same issue, please note that refund requests through Apple may be limited to two attempts. Well what I notice with this app is that one of the glitch is that the old and new messages are mixed up together so there are times when you send a message then automatically the older message of your chatmate will show up like it’s the latest one but you know it was old because you are familiar with the message so things like that and even if the person is not online it shows online because I asked the person why he is always online that he’s not online he’s not even able to login through the app and ask to have it deleted, And with my partner right now before I told him like oh you read my message there I thought you’re ready deleted the app and he said no I didn’t Read the message because I didn’t even have the app downloaded and sent me a screenshot so things like that,well anyways you’ll figure it out yourself

Honestly, I like a lot that this app offers: Prompts, insight questions to help the algorithm, upfront clarity about what someone’s looking for & open to when you connect.Unfortunately, there wasn’t the option to set a free non-negotiatiable. Given where I’m at in life, I have a few non-negotiables, and the fact that I couldn’t set ANY without paying meant that I went through tons of profiles before seeing anyone I’d be open to. (Part of this is where I’m currently living, too, but in the end it put all the more leg work on my end, which led to me realizing the app would just be a time sink for me).Even one would’ve made the process significantly easier, to the point that I’d probably have kept the app.
