The app is an overall good app that is easy to use. Occasionally the website seems to crash and no images can be retrieved. This condition has lasted as long as a day or two but most of the time it is back up in a few hours. I have never permanently lost any images. The album feature is completely useless. If images are saved to an album and then deleted from the daily accumulated images they are also deleted from the album. When images from an entire day are selected to be deleted the entire image becomes darkened to the point that details cannot be easily seen. This requires an extra step of reviewing the images before they are selected for deletion. The Browning and Tacticam app are much better in that the images stay bright and clear. The Moultrie delete feature is accessed when a series of three dots… appear at the bottom of the screen overlaid on other characters. Touch the three dots and the delete feature is accessible. There should be a trash can icon at the top (like most other apps)to make this much simpler and faster. These may seem like small things but when going through large numbers of images daily they become quite an annoyance.

I am currently running 2 cell cams the MoultrieMobile Edge and also 1 Tactacam Reveal X Pro and both cams are Great but, the MoultrieMobile Edge Cell Camera is by far the best in terms of image quality. Also the ease of getting cellular service on the Edge is effortless. I will be buying MoultrieMobile from here on out. Tactacam is great cameras too but the picture quality is lacking bad, and their just not worth the price your honestly just buying a name with Tactacam. Best advice I can give anyone looking to buy a new cellular trail camera is to go for it buy the MoultrieMobile Edge it is truly the best camera I’ve ever had and the only cameras I’ll ever buy again. I am sold on MoultrieMobile and their cheaper than most. Also their built to last as well the folding antenna makes this camera worth buying in itself. Don’t think that MoultrieMobile cameras are cheap quality because I’m here to tell you their built as good or even better than any other brand camera on the market to date. Thanks MoultrieMobile for the affordable cameras and other great products you produce keep up the good work. With the prices of everything today it is hard for an honest hard working outdoorsman to be able to enjoy the sport of hunting and the outdoors, but with the prices of your products it makes it a little easier to still enjoy the privileges of hunting and being outdoors…

Overall we love Moultrie and their customer service is excellent once you get past the AI barrier that insists you use when you’re connected via phone. We’re having problems with video downloads when there’s bad weather, sometimes when the weather’s fine but not as much. We have their solar panel as a backup which really helps save on batteries. We depend on quick downloads when we’re trapping bears. It’s important for us to respond quickly and efficiently when one gets snared. Rain and bad weather does not help. We understand this is a common problem with all cell service providers. We definitely get a lot of good quality pics and videos. Which helps us pattern game. We’ve had a couple of Deltas crash out on us recently and the problem with that is they allow us to use SD Cards which captures videos dependably. Though the Edge models keep taking pics as long as there’s a dependable power source and even if you turn them off you get all those pics back when you restart them later on. That’s a big deal to us. So the trade offs are real, but not a game changer for us. We’ll continue using Moultrie as long as we keep getting advantages like these. Hope it helps

Wasted investment

I purchased these cameras before the season last year and they never worked properly. They said they would replace them and the did with the same kind and in mid December you know, at the end of the season so they were of no use. Started earlier this year had the same problems they replaced 2 of 3 with a different model got 1 in time to use the other came right in the middle of the rut so never got a chance to use it. Just put it in the box with the other one that doesn’t work that the lady I spoke to said she was going to send a replacement for. These people just are waiting for the warranty to run on on these defective cameras so they don’t have to loose any more money. I stated to one of the reps. That y’all are just replacing a bad product with the same bad product till the warranty runs out. At least she didn’t lie to me, I could tell she was embarrassed but she didn’t deny it. I also contacted the Consumer Protection Agency at the federal government they were no help. They said I need to contact the Consumer Protection Administration in Alabama to file so guess I will need to contact them tomorrow. I waisted a lot of time and money on these pieces of crap.
