I love Bath & Body Works, but I don’t always love going out and about to stores. I use the app for probably 75% of the shopping that I do with them. The app is easy to navigate, I hardly ever have any technical difficulties with it. It’s super easy to apply your coupons or rewards when you check out, and it’s easy to add your payment methods. I’ve only ever had one problem with an order being lost, and that wasn’t Bath & Body Work’s fault, it was the postal service’s fault for loosing the package. Once I did realize the package was lost, I contacted customer service, and they replaced my lost items. They have a convenient customer service chat option in the app that you can text them on the app and they will help you with whatever the issue is. I love the great variety that the app always has; I love having seasonal things in my home, so their hand soaps and candles that change seasonally are great! Some of the items can be a little pricey, so I usually wait for a sale, and Bath & Body Works is almost always running some sort of sale, so it’s easy to wait until there’s one before buying anything. I’d definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I know the old app wasn’t perfect. However, now it is not really usable. I am blind and I use voiceover on my iPhone. I purposely did not upgrade the app because I know sometimes when an app is updated the accessibility suffers. Today the choice was taken out of my hands. Whenever I navigated to the shopping tab out of the wallet or the Home tab there was a pop-up telling me I should upgrade the app and there was no dismiss button. even closing the app through the app switcher and reloading it didn’t make that pop-up go away. So I gave it an upgraded. Now the app is not really functional for me. There are no headings or links in the product listings. For a sighted person this might not be a big deal, but now I cannot flick once up or down to move from one product to another, instead I have to swipe 10 times for each product so going through a list of 300 products during a sale with essentially mean 3000 swipes. That is not acceptable. How hard would it have been to leave headings or links there for navigation purposes. Also, there are several elements that are not labeled properly with text so voiceover doesn’t read them correctly. websites and apps are required to be accessible by law, and I really hope Bath and body Works updates the app and fixes this quickly. don’t judge me, I have literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars on Bath and body Works products over the last couple of years. But I am not going to have a sided person help me every time I want to shop on this app.

I ordered online from Bath and body Works for the hand soap that went on sale for $2.50 and within 20 minutes. I received an email stating my order has been canceled. I was planning on picking this order up from Bath and body and don’t know why it got canceled. The email stated that I had not picked up my items in a timely manner. I therefore called the store and told them about the cancellation and told them that according to the website, give them four hours to get the items. The manager said she had no idea what happened or how it happened. She also called corporate office to see what happened and to Annaville maybe a glitch in the system. She apologized and told me to re-order however, by the time I ordered quite a few of my items were no longer available to be picked up in the store. They had to be shipped. I decided not to get those particular items I’m disappointed and not sure even now why my order was canceled or what happened however, Bath and Bodyworks missed out on money. I suggest they find out what happened in this particular case because it could be happening to other customers and they might not have the patience to deal with this as I did by calling the store. I want to take the manager at the Short Pump bath and body mall for taking time out to handle this situation.

I received some gift cards after announcing my pregnancy to family and friends. Rather than face sensory overload in store I was excited to get down to retail therapy by filtering thru options online or on the app. I found neither suitable for making a purchase I felt confident about. Being it is impossible to smell the scents it would be nice to be able to filter products by ingredients. And about that... I find it puzzling really how this company continues to be such a juggernaut in this space when you're still listing 'fragrance' as an ingredient on most products. The smells must keep em coming but with all the product layering encouraged I can't help but wonder how many suffer from symptoms of toxicity. I'd love to find a delicious fragrance for body that doesnt make me literally swoon (and not in a good way, more like an Ive encountered anthrax sorta way) when I put it on. I can't help but think greater transparency will make this more likely. Really would love to be privy to the specifics of the chemical soup you call 'sweet pea'! On a final note related to the actual app I cannot for life of me change the store location. I pull up nearby stores and select one, then click the button at bottom to change or save selection, that button lightens which makes me think it's doing something but then there's never any indication the change has been made. In fact that wimdow persists unless I select a different tab to navigate away from it. When I do this and return to check which store I'm shopping, it's the same as before.
