This game is game is very good and fun I like that you can upgrade, get new bats, and new people and all that other stuff, it’s just when ever I get right in middle and hit red it does go far but if you try to bounce on your first bounce it just goes super high it go farther(sometimes it does) but if you don’t try to bounce it in the first bounce it bounces by itself then on the second bounce if still don’t hit it it will still just go high, and sometimes when I hit the ball I feel like I’m about to go to the next level because I’m on smooth grass and I STILL have bounces, but nope, I’m smooth grass I somehow hit some kind of invisible block or something, and also sometimes I feel like the game is trying to make you loose distance because I’m going pretty far then I stop and use my bounce but I wasn’t going backwards because sometimes if your going backwards and use your bounce you’ll go backwards but all I did was going forwards and stopped and when I tried to use my bounce it maid me go backwards and there was nothing in front of me, and I feel like the game just spawns in random objects so recently I was playing and I was going super far then a bunch of trees come in then none of them hit me and in my head I said yes because before I’ve been going far then hitting trees then go backwards, so I didn’t get hit by a tree but then there’s just a random pole sitting there and then…I HIT IT!!!!! AND THEN IT SENDS ME BACK PRETTY FAR…so yeah

So Ive been playing this game for a bit now and I must admit it is a blast to play. Super easy and intuitive to learn and use, pick it up and put it down with ease. Perfect for someone like me who does not want to have to invest chunks of time playing if I don’t want to or can’t at the moment. So far, I do love the game. Ive not played long, but what I have has been a blast. What I don’t love is that between rounds, you win and claim coins to be used for upgraded items. They offer you 2 choices, take the coins or double your reward for watching a video. Cool, I’m down with that. The rub is that I don’t always want to double my reward, so I click just take coins. The issue I’m finding is that 90% of the time I’m being force fed an ad anyway without any reward. If I wanted to watch an ad, I would have chosen double my reward. I didn’t, so don’t force me to watch one. And I am choosing double my reward most of the time as it helps me build up quickly, so I’m not trying to avoid the ads. I just don’t want an ad between almost EVERY round as most ads are AS LONG as a round. That’s too high of a price to play this game. It shouldn’t be almost a 50/50 split between game and ads, thats way way too much. I don’t normally review games, but I do like this game and hope something can be done about all the ads so I can really fully enjoy this game.

The progression is fantastic. You can upgrade strength, speed, and bounce. Every time you upgrade them your stats improve by 10% and the cost of the next upgrade goes up by 20%. Every 1000 meters gives you a 5% strength boost and a 5% currency boost. Also every 1000 meters up to about 50k meters you will unlock a cosmetic bat upgrade. While you hit your ball around the map you will collect gems on the ground that are used to purchase cosmetic player upgrades.DEVS: (in recent update: thank you so much for increasing the game speed. Unfortunately I think there is a bug in the game. I think it has to do with terrain generation. (Context: I have the iPhone 8 Plus, I closed out all apps on my phone including Baseball Boy, then I reopened baseball boy) I now hit the ball to about 90k meters before it hits the ground. Unfortunately the ground doesn’t load in time and then I’m instantly teleported back to the beginning to hit the ball again. If I purposely botch the hit so as to land around 70k-80k meters the ground catches up and I CAN play. I don’t know if this is by design, but because of this I can not pass 104k meters in the game. I have a video of everything I just explained if needed)

The game is alright but it becomes unplayable after a few minutes, sometimes the ball will randomly jump backwards for no apparent reason and it’s just incredibly frustrating because this problem can easily be fixed. even when the ball is rolling on flat ground it could randomly jump backwards and it happens roughly half the time you have a solid hit. Don’t get me even started with the ads, I’d maybe be more hesitant to complain but I can’t play 1 minute without the same 30 second UNSKIPPABLE ADS popping up every two hits. Combined with the awful bugs such as the ball simply going under the map and breaking the game, to the broken mechanics and more cheap mobile game ads than one can stomach. This game is meant for 6 year old children with booger covered iPads, this game is worse than hangnails, this game makes me wanna look up words in my thesaurus to correctly identify how much I despise this game. I will never look at mobile games the same after this experience, in fact I will now be boycotting this company until I receive a formal apology in the mail, along with a 15 dollar gift card to Arby’s, only then will I consider to allow myself to glance upon the silly baseball boy game. I have lost all hope for the universe, I will be taking my anger out on my old golf clubs at the local driving range. Good day.
