I would like to start off by saying that this is probably one of the most realistic game I’ve played pertaining to baseball that I’ve seen on a mobile device. Though, as I’ve played this game for about a year, it has come to my attention that there seems to be a lack of a graphics update for the pitchers. It just gets repetitive every time I face a pitcher that has the same windup as the other guy that I already faced. I don’t know if getting down the unique forms of pitchers is a difficult task to do or it is just a longer process, but I really hope to see more improvement of the pitchers in upcoming updates. Besides that, another cool thing maybe can be added to this game is the “tunneling effect” where the pitches overlay each other. The idea is that two different pitches fly down the same trajectory long enough to look nearly identical through the point when a hitter must decide whether, or not, to swing. For example if I throw and fastball in game and then the next pitch is a curveball and they both overlap, it should make the batter more likely to swing at the pitch. To finish, I sincerely hope that the unique forms of the players will be added or focused on more in the future updates of this game. This is definitely one of the better games I’ve played for baseball and I usually focus on how realistic the game is.

Amazing game, just add more players please

I have been playing this game for a good amount of time now, and at first I didn’t understand how to get a high overall team but now I use the preferred teams to higher level. The attention to detail in this game is amazing and is one of the best and funnest baseball games to play. I love all of the game modes. I do hope there are more campaigns to come because that was fun, and I finished the first one in maybe an hour. I do have some recommendations as I have played almost every MLB game on the App Store. I do find it difficult to acquire certain players I need for my teams and that goes back to my only problem with this game. There’s not enough players for each team. I use the Padres and there is maybe not as maybe high overall players to make a viable team overall. I couldn’t imagine being like an athletics fan and trying to make a team with this game. All I ask is for more players and maybe more opportunities to unlock these players like more proffered team packs. I could open 20 impact packs and not get one preferred team special player. I just wish there were more opportunities to unlock team preferred packs and players or maybe add a marketplace where people can buy and sell players. That would solve so many problems, or more type of packs like the pick up scouts those are really good. Overall I love the game and never complain just some tweaks and over time adding more players and this game will forever be my favorite MLB game.

Good but a little convoluted

Great game to play on a lunch break or sitting with family chilling. Very fun gameplay with everything you need to enjoy a simple baseball game! Pitching is decent but once the cpu gets a couple hits they become virtual terminators and just light you up on every pitch. You can set up 4 fast balls in a row and when you switch it to slider they won’t be subjected to human like timing errors .. they just whack everything haha. There’s quite a big learning curve regarding how to level up cards and what all the different currencies mean and when to use it. But nothing too crazy. Upgrading cards can be a nightmare. I’ve missed on over 100 attempts leveling up my servino card with a 9% chance of success. Oh well. Once you get a decent team it’s great fun and a good time waster . My biggest gripe is how the cpu will react to every pitch you throw perfectly if they are “meant” to get a hit. Sometimes outfielders are playing way out of position for no reason. They will tip toe to some balls and run balls to wall for others depending on the situation. Oh and deck score is set up wonky IMO. I can’t use my Chapman card because I have a 500 deck score exactly and the live card I have is like 8 points more so I have to use it. I have a prime Garret Cole card but it’s not nearly as important as the season card which has 30 deck score compared to the prime 16. Not the biggest of deals but still. I want to be able to use my best overall team without needing to use worse players to get the best deck score

What can make this game A LOT better?

This is really the best baseball game on the mobile platform. Yet it still has very little features missing which isn’t really a big problem, but if they were added, then it would sure make it a much cooler game for people to enjoy. What I would really love in this game are the instant replays. It would sure give people time to record last play in which they thought they were pretty awesome. Another feature I would love are home team fan reactions. For the home team, when their team makes does a strike out or makes a play against the opposing team, the home fans would have a positive reaction. But if the away team does the same thing against the home team, then the home fans will do a negative reaction. Oh yeah and make the home fans loud too. One more feature in which I don’t know if this game even has, are a batting cursor. That would give a pretty good challenge for me in the game. There IS a problem with the fans chanting the away team at the home team ballpark/stadium, for example im playing as the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park. When im supposed to hear “let’s go Phillies” instead I hear “let’s go Braves” that’s how I knew something was wrong. And that’s pretty but it. Other than all those features, this game is awesome, and I’m not forcing you add these features in which can take some time to do so.
