I was recently living in Wisconsin looking to relocate across country. I found a listing which was no different then others I felt. Went through a lot of similar steps when processing forms and information and it freaking turned out to be a scam legitimately. Buddy walked away with a Grand. I don’t even wanna share the story cause it’s still shameful that i followed through but being a single father looking to get a place for me and my boy it stumbled me. This is information to the Reader but double triple check these listing. These guys have full websites made to get you sending the whole 9. I.e 7 year history background check i. D verification reference emergency contact and a contact to get ahold of who’s supposed is on site. Down to a fake freaking lease contract. So just beware to the mindful soul
Very useful apartment hunting app

I really enjoy this application in that it makes apartment hunting easier and streamlined. I like that there’s 3D tours available for a lot of apartments, which makes hunting SO useful. Overall it’s a great app.I will say there are some things that could be added to this app to have my rating go from a 4 to a 5 star. First, it would be very helpful to have additional filter for income-restricted housing; I’ll click on an apartment and end up finding out I am ineligible to live there. Also, while it’s nice there’s an option for student housing, as someone who works at a university and therefore look for places close to work, I wish there was a way to filter out choices that are NOT student housing. Additionally, differentiating between options that would be shared—such as “room available in x bedroom house.” If I wanted to have a roommate I would just look on Craigslist. I also hope in the future they can improve their overlays. Having overlays for universities is very helpful for me as I work at one, so that’s great. However, I would love to see if they could more fully integrate transportation to include more accurate bus and metro lines. I don’t want to have to have both google maps and this app open to see my options for commuting. Otherwise, this is a great app, and I hope my suggestions will be taken into consideration.
Great App with a few flaws programmers could fix

This is a great app to look for apartments BUT I did experience a few issues. ——1 BIG problem is that messages sent through the app are responded to by email that go to junk folder. I suggest the messages be housed within the app for quick locating and replying. I believe this would help renters and owners get people into apartments quicker. ——The prices and especially SPECIAL offers should also be confirmed or monitored often since it seems like complexes post a price then either they forget about it OR they just want interest in their apartments. A lot are “last year’s prices” and that should NOT happen on July.——Sometimes when you tap the address or map, it will ask if you wanted to launch in Maps other times it does not and it forces you to view it in the app. I believe it should always ask you since I was trying to determine how long commutes were. ——I believe there should be a way to “not like”, “dislike” or “hide” a listing so it’s not constantly coming up even though you either don’t like it or don’t want to see it, etc. ——When opening the app, the animation video is fine, but it should not stop music from playing. The app should never stop music from playing while browsing. Apartment hunting is stressful enough without having the music stop for no reason. Overall, it is a very useful app.
Fraud alert! Not once, not twice but 3 times!

If I could give them no stars I would! They tried to scam me more than 2 times and I’m glad I’m not a gullible person to actually send out money. I found a house I loved and wanted to check it out. The “owner” emailed me and said the realtor raised the price so they are working alone to get someone in to there home since they moved away for “work”. I was happy to work with just the “owner” of course to help save a little from the realtor fee. I became suspicious when I tried to schedule a viewing and I was told I can only “drive by” because they are not in town. RED FLAG! They also ask when am I willing to send money although in the previous letter they stated “it wasn’t important and that they only really cared about the person who was moving and how they would maintain the house”. ANOTHER RED FLAG! I told them once I am signing my lease then I will exchange money the same time but of course they said they were unsure when they would be back but I was able to move in the house and they would fedex or DHL my keys. Major RED FLAG! I took it upon myself to google the address and it came up in the search for another site called Zillow. I viewed it and noticed different pricing and also a number for realtor whom I spoke to. They were in complete shock once I told them what had happened and informed the real owners. I got 2 more emails that were written in a similar way and asking the same questions in the application. I reported them! And now I’m informing you! Use a different site or just go with a legit realtor!
