You must have this app if you do any water sport

I have been using iKitesurf for several year as a pro rider and pro coach. It has become my most important work tool. As a Kiteboarder you can get live wind readings. This new update brings you a really awesome feature : you can now post your own wind report and let everyone know what is the wind like we’re you are. You can also as comments to the post to let everyone know how crowded the spot is or anything you feel is important to share. Don’t wait download it and try it out !!!!

Inconsistent between individuals apps

There are inconsistencies between mine and my friends reports. Even the free versions on both phones are way different. Plus, I lost access to a lot of meters recently after having the free version for almost 3 years, while my boyfriend still has access to them and also has the free version. I can’t see graphs or more than 2 days out. So now I have to rely on him to give me reports. But then the reports I do get are waaay different than his are and my other friends. I also have friends that pay for the pro version, and theirs are also inconsistent. I’m really disappointed, and I would definitely not pay the outrageous price for the pro membership after seeing the inconsistent readings.

Kitebetty, We have several different Forecast Models: they are all different! Your friend is probably looking at a different forecast model. Try them all and then choose the Forecast Model that works the best for you, for each of your spots! And give us a shout, so we can help you ASAP with any remaining issues: Main Menu > Settings & Help > Contact Us.

Wind for when work is just an option

I have been using this for quite some time, it has made my day is a lot easier and keeps me from getting fired. Taking off last minute out of work and going to the beach to find out there’s no wind really doesn’t provide any excuses. This app helps in the forecast and see what’s going on so at least if I’m gonna get in trouble that’s worth it. Extremely time saving wind app! Quick to see my local favorite’s wind and to change to my current travel location. Displays not only the current wind speed but forecasts, weather, waves, temperature and more in a glance. The pro forecasts and private meters make the price worth the fees. But the free version isn’t bad either. I have tried many free apps and nooa and they all take many clicks to get as much information. Enjoy!
