I actually really love this game. I play it every day. It’s a perfect mix of brainless fun while still giving me something to actively do. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? My big issue is that there are a lot of features that are “coming soon” but haven’t been added. There are supposed to be skills that can be unlocked once you reach timeline 7, but they’re not there. It just says “coming soon” on the screen where they will eventually be. I’m supposed to get runes when I reach timeline 8 and the arena when I reach timeline 9, and I’m fairly confident that those things will be “coming soon” too. Now that’s not a bad thing, but if something isn’t going to actually be coming soon then don’t tell us about it. It feels like I’m being cheated out of something. Champions were first added two months ago. If skills are the next big additions, then runes, then the arena, and if you assume that skills release today and they continue at the pace they’ve been at, we won’t get the arena until the summer. That’s not soon. That’s too long to be staring at a “coming soon” screen when you have no idea when it will actually be coming. Again, this game is really fun, but the rewards for getting to a new timeline (beyond the little boost you get) should be there, or they shouldn’t be advertised. It’s just a letdown when you finally get there and the thing you’re supposed to unlock doesn’t exist yet.

I only rated it a 4 so this review would be seen. I don’t know if the developers wanted people to stop enjoying this game with their recent updates…. Bc that’s exactly what’s happening. First they made it so it’s harder to complete dungeons/levels to win diamonds & keys. Once the players started using the outfits of their champion to conquer said dungeons & levels, then yall remove that option completely!! No more double coins & diamonds based on a certain outfit. It’s like this game is not enjoyable anymore. Whoever idea it was to change it, please change it back bc you’re gonna lose more and more players who just wanted a mindless game with STEADY progression. And with economy we’re in, I’m not paying money to advance in this game! I was more likely to pay when I wasn’t forced to, to get ahead on the game 😒😒 yall driving yall own game that was decent, to ruin by making it extra difficult to advance & beat levels for NO REASON. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Really really loving the updates to the game so far- the addition of skills was very well-done I thought, and I appreciate the expanding game mode types with of course the main part of the game being the same every time. I’ve done a couple in-app purchases, and I don’t regret anything, except the “no ads” (which I’ve bought twice now…? don’t know how that happened) does NOT mean you just get the rewards, you still have to watch ads to get extra rewards, despite the $18 I’ve spent on no ads twice. Which is tough. But I feel like I’m in the top 0.1% of players right now so I’m staying committed anyway. Would love no ads to mean no ads though, just like any other game of this genre.Let’s see… the races are super fun, although the addition of the bunny pet is making legendary pets completely worthless, that’s kind of funny. Please don’t nerf, just give another bunny. Lol.OH! Last problem- the game shows that there are more cards that I have yet to collect- I 1000% guarantee you that if they were actually in the game I would have them by now (I’ve played a lot)- I know they’re probably just unreleased, but some sort of newsletter that gives us a timeline of future updates would be awesome, even if it’s a rough timeline rather than an exact one.

I’ve played this game for a while now. It’s a fun little time filler. Good enough to keep me playing, but simple enough to only do a few minutes at a time. There are paid refill options that are too expensive for me, but also enough that can be earned that I’m not able to play for free. There are ads, but they do not interrupt the game play and most are only a few seconds long. Some are about a minute, but they offset each other. I grew concerned when I was clearing space on my phone and noticed that the game size is about 300Mb, but the document and date saved is over 2.5Gb. There’s barely anything this game needs to store for your progress. So I looked at their privacy policy. It states they collect nearly everything about you, including other apps, how long you are on them, what you do on them, where you are at, information they can pull out of the network you’re connected to in general, which web browser you are using, sites you visit, keys you click, any and all purchase history on your device and account, your email address, your shipping address, your name, your age, and just about any other piece of information they can possibly get. This is then used by them and anyone they want to sell it to. Who knows what else all that data is being used for? A fun time waster is not worth that risk.
