Great game, one big problem

I love every game in this series and college football is no different. I found a big problem that makes it difficult to progress in the game. One of the novice goals is to win a personal award. After completing the other goals, there is barely any way to earn enough RC to afford a player good enough to be eligible for an award. It is also harder to win a personal award in this game than any of the other games because everyone in the game is vying for one team of the year. If there were awards for each conference, this would be much more achievable. I’m sure this is possible because there are conference awards in your other games. I know that was long but just wanted to get the point across 😅 great game!Edit: I just had a kicker on the team of the year and I didn’t get the goal… do I have to win MVP or those types of awards?

I was first introduced to the Pro Football version, played it since 2021 and paid for premium to really get the full experience. I found this game to be much easier than the pro version, but has its own set of challenges. You can build a winning program quickly, but you may probably wont make the playoffs at 8-4, which is very realistic! Having a lot of fun with this game and almost tempted to buy premium again (i almost never spend actual money on a stupid phone game, but these games feel worth it even at a few bucks)Developers, These games are exactly what i wanted from a team management sim game. Bravo. Im glad i found the college game, because the pro version has become frustrating to play. Contracts are harder to manage, negotiation mechanics are much different, and my players always have 10x less trade value than other teams. I feel like some of this is strategic, but theres little guidance or feedback to definitively figure out how to develop your program to overcome these challenges. Specifically in coach mode.The mechanics in this game make perfect sense, and i cant wait to win more college national championships. Wreck ‘Em!

Hi mate, thanks for the review! Glad you found the experience positive! While the game takes time to master, you absolutely can progress without making any purchases. Each year you're allocated RC based on your scouting HQ level, try to upgrade it to get more RC. You can also lower players demands by adding a scholarship or a nil deal to the offer.

Love the game but wish it had some concepts like the pro football one, being able to switch to the old line up vs new is og in my opinion, and team starting level would be nice too, choose to start as a bad, mid, above average, great, or elite team was pretty fun and just switching it up after you play in one for 30+ seasons or something, but I agree with a previous review about overall, there’s no way every team gets that good every year, some teams gotta hit a downfall after so long or some team makes a miraculous come up over a couple seasons or something but every single team in the league increasing that much is overboard
