This app is so beautifully drawn, and full of character: it’s by far my favorite focus app. I love that you can change how strict the cat is, but honestly I do all I can to avoid leaving the app during focus time, because I feel bad when I make the cat mad 😅 I appreciate that I can’t distract myself by redecorating or anything else during focus time, and I like that the in-game currency accrues pretty slowly so that when I get to buy new items, they really feel earned. This game is already basically perfect, but would looooove it if: - Cat had more animations/poses- I could interact with the cat a little bit more - I could remove the picture frame from the wall (looks weird with outdoor backgrounds)
Cute Timer with Room for Growth

I’ve tried many focus timers and so far I’ve been enjoying this one. I like that it doesn’t utilize language like “quit” which can come across judgmental. The art is incredibly cute and I find the premise engaging enough. I like that the image of the room can be saved and even used as a wallpaper.I do hope they add more customization options that can be unlocked through consistent usage of the app. It would be great to have more cats (like Siamese), chairs, windows with weather selections (like rain, snow, falling leaves), fireplaces, etc to create a cozy image. It would also be nice if the ambient sounds could still be available while listening to podcasts. There are some apps that allow that which I would find helpful since I don’t listen to only ambient sounds while working or when needing a focus timer.I will continue to use the app for a bit and hope more is added for continued use.

Thank you so much for your support. We just released a new update with many new cats, furnitures, ambient sounds. You can get most of the items by using the app and get gifts from your cat. We recently updated the app to allow listen to podcast while the ambient sound is on. Hope you will enjoy it.

Cat On Chair is by far the best Pomodoro style focus app I’ve ever used. I don’t write reviews, but this was too impressive to just stay quiet. The free version gives you exactly what you need and absolutely no ads. I appreciate this app so much that I’m upgrading to the paid version because I’m blown away by the features. The cats are adorable and the ambient sounds are excellent. I love that I can control the volume and the percentage of the ambients sounds. Huge benefit is whitelist the music app so that I can also listen to my Lofi study while listening to the purring sounds of the Cat on chair. Super cozy when I’m at work and can’t have my real cat to keep me company. Thank you for creating this app!!
Amazing focus app.
Cost to much.
This app has the cutest sketch style and animations. It is a pretty plain app though, its main focus only being the timer. Since it’s plain, it honestly helps me focus better than all those other apps that are way to overstimulating. You can name your cat and it even gives you little quotes. The only thing that I would say was a bit annoying was all the money it cost to buy cats, I wish it costed less overall for those extra cute features because the free version is pretty limited. Overall love this app.

Focus Loop: Ending a break manually now continues the focus cycle more reliably, including Apple Watch auto-start flows.
Focus Screen: Focus sessions now allow the device to auto-lock normally.
Timeline: Failed focus sessions that count toward stats now appear in the Focus Timeline.
Achievements: Fish and collectible achievements now unlock more reliably from your saved progress.
Todo Stickers: Sticker editing on todos is steadier, with larger corner controls and smoother scroll behavior.
Rewards & Shop: New gifts stay preserved, purchased Shop items recover more reliably, and sell receipt buttons stay anchored at the bottom.
