A top-notch Experience

"I recently had the pleasure of flying with Etihad Airways on my way to Manila for the 1st time after 7 years way back home and I must say that my experience with the airline was top-notch. I have to give a special shout-out to Maria and Zaneb, who both went above and beyond in their service.

Maria, who handled my seating arrangements, was very accommodating and attentive to my needs. I requested to be transferred to a seat with a window, and Maria did her best to make it happen despite the challenges. Her efforts were greatly appreciated, and they made my flight much more enjoyable.

Zaneb, who was our cabin crew during the flight, was also excellent in her service delivery. She was always available when needed, and her approachable and friendly demeanor made me feel at ease. Even during mealtime, she made sure to wake me up to have my breakfast, and the French toast and coffee pairing were lovely.

The whole flight crew, including the pilot who times our flying smoothly and high safety he always reminds the passengers and cabin crew to be safe and he shows caring. I was on flight EY428 -Abu Dhabi to Manila and land safely and early time last April 3, 2023. I will be back in Abu Dhabi on April 10, 2023, on flight EY421 and I hope I can find a nice seat with a window I want to see the sky view with no obstacles even im in economy class and the same or exceeding my expectations during my flight.

Worst Customer Service

On January 26th, I made changes to my ticket on your website, and despite the fact that the money was deducted from my account, the system crashed, and my ticket was neither issued nor changed. I contacted your customer service team, and they suggested making the change over the phone and pay again while refunding me the first payment within 4-5 days since it’s considered as soft charges. However, after almost two weeks, I called back to inquire about the status of my funds, but no one gave me an clear answer. I made another call almost two weeks later, but still no feedback. Finally, on March 8th, I called again to ask about my funds, and I was informed that they had been released on March 2nd, almost 40 days after the incident.

The level of unprofessionalism demonstrated by Etihad is unacceptable. I have never seen a company that does not value its customers to such an extent. I was the one following up, calling and asking about my money where It should have been the other way around.

I do not want to hear any apologies or explanations for what has happened. What I want is my money that I currently need (I have commitments) and a proper compensation for the way you handled this situation. The delay(s) that have occurred and your lack of commitment to me as a customer after an error from Etihad are unacceptable.

I demand a prompt resolution to this matter, and I will not rest until I receive the compensation I deserve.
