I understand there are delays in shipments due to covid 19 but when an order is delayed there should be a follow up mail or call made especially when your delivery time is 12-14 working days in UAE. I waited over 22 working days and after waiting over 10 min on 3 calls to get the same feedback that was given 2 days prior i decided to cancel the order. It was advised that usually refund takes between 5-7 working days and guess what i call after 7 working days as the refund has not been made i am told that the refund will be completed end of day but it will take another 5-7 working days to reflect in my account as per bank policy. This has been a heck of a nightmare i hope everyone reads this review before considering to order, i have never left a bad review in my life but this has been a hell of a bad experience.

You have the worst customer care i have experienced in life. I had a gift card which i couldn’t use due to the lockdown as it cannot be used online and the stores were closed and when i visited the store you didn’t have any empathy or understanding towards the situation. The card was expired just by less than a week and twice I visited your ibn batuta store and they told me to wait as they have sent an email to the customer care but no one replied ever. I was asked to wait and wait and eventually you declined that you cannot accept the card because it was expired. If that is the process why didnt they tell me that the first time i visited? I had similar gift cards from Al Shaya and they were so happy to extend my card for 3 months. I dont understand why you would not extend the gift card? It was my money that i spent to get the card, and you want to keep it? Companies and brands need to treat their customers like humans. I will never enter your store and never recommend anyone your brand. I never expected this from gulf marketing group. Just go to your facebook page and you will see so many unhappy customer’s comments. You cannot survive only on new customers you have to keep your existing ones happy.

This has to be by far the worst online shopping experience I have had the misfortune of going through. I left a review here on the 25th of November and funny enough, they had it flagged and deleted it would seem, so here we go again. I made an order on the 12th of November for a pair of shoes as a gift, it never reached. After multiple conversations with customer service and multiple “escalations of the issue” nothing happened and I was repeatedly told that the shoes are out of stock even after I paid for the shoes. In any case I received my money back 13 days after making the order. Now funnily enough I ordered the same pair 3 days ago and received them today; I decide to open a chat with customer support asking them about my previous order and about the pair of shoes to which they give me the staple reply “It’s out of stock sir”. Still? Out of stock for a month? Well it clearly appears that customer service was simply lying to me and quite possibly to other customers as well, the shoes aren’t out stock because I just received them it might have something to do with choosing cash on delivery this time.

I ordered a pair of shoes for my daughters Birthday. I ordered size 41 during the flash sale which is her exact size. The ordering and app experience was great and so was the delivery which happened in 24 hours. But when we opened the box excited the size that Sun and Sand had packed was 43! What a disappointment. The when i tried to exchange it for the same price I was told they don’t do exchanges. Which is fine if I ordered the wrong size, but this was entirely their fault for packing and delivering the wrong size. I’m very dissatisfied with the customer service recovery. Now I have to wait for 7-10 for a refund which I would t News had they just done the exchange and settled the mistake. I’m the mean time I need to order a new shoe for my daughter who planned to wear the shoe for her birthday and won’t be able to.
