* Galaxy Watch is not compatible with iPad and iPod touch
The Galaxy Watch application connects Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch3 to your mobile device. It also manages and monitors Gear S2 / Gear S3 / Gear Sport / Galaxy Watch / Galaxy Watch Active / Galaxy Watch Active2 / Galaxy Watch3 features and applications installed through Galaxy App Store. Use the Galaxy Watch application to set up and manage the following
Features:
- Connect to and disconnect from a mobile device
- Application download and settings
- Find my Watch
Install the Galaxy Watch application on your mobile device, then pair your Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2 or Galaxy Watch3 with a Bluetooth connection and enjoy all of its features.
* Compatibility
- Galaxy Watch is not compatible with iPad and iPod touch
* Settings and features provided by the Galaxy Watch application are only available when Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport and Galaxy Watch is connected to your mobile device. Features will not work properly without a proper connection between Gear S2 / Gear S3 / Gear Sport / Galaxy Watch / Galaxy Watch Active / Galaxy Watch Active2 / Galaxy Watch3 and your mobile device.
* This application is only for Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Galaxy Watch Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch3.
* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Ok....but can be better
This is the only way for an iOS user to have any samsung watch paired with the phone. Since, there is no other alternative, something is better than nothing. I really wished the music transfer would be more direct with the phone. And the connectivity is also pretty bad. But since this is the only app for this, I am ok with it. But.... it could have been better.

Hello user, we are sorry to hear that. Please try the following steps to solve the sync issue:
1. Go to iPhone Setting and scroll down to Galaxy Watch. Then toggle on Background App Refresh.
2. Please update your Gear firmware if you haven't already.
3. Start the Galaxy Watch app and let it run in the background.

I have an iPhone 7 and really like ur Samsung watches and I’m not a fan of apple watches. I understand this app has been continuously updated the past months and I want to know exactly what I’m missing out on by using an iPhone with a Samsung watch. (I didn’t by a Samsung watch yet I’m waiting for ur reply)

Dear user, thank you for your query. The limitations when using a Galaxy Watch with an iPhone are as follows:
1. Reply function unavailable (replying and message syncing for features such as text messaging, messenger app, emails).
2. S Health features unavailable (viewing map, workout of the day recommendations, etc.).
3. Samsung device-only features unavailable (Samsung Pay, T-money, Nike Running, SOS functions, etc.).
4. Music Manager (PC web version) must be used to send music files to the Watch for playback on the Music Player.
5. Only free apps and Watch-specific apps can be downloaded from the Samsung Galaxy Apps.
6. Availability of app download may also vary by app developer, OS, software version and service region.
Message BUGS
The watch is not syncing the notifications of WhatsApp and text messages, I reset everything the phone and the watch it never works
I’m really disappointed with that.
Even solution on Samsung website is not valid there’s no listing for applications on the notification settings as you mentioned. Only AppStore’s disabled and no other application is there as mentioned on Samsung website.
Either you update this application or update the watch software.
