I’ve been using this app for quite some time to search for vehicles, and it was one of my go-to tools for navigating the car market. However, the latest update has completely ruined the experience and, quite frankly, seems like a blatant attempt to manipulate the market to favor sellers at the expense of buyers. The app’s decision to remove the ability for buyers to see how many people are interested in a vehicle is a massive misstep. This feature was crucial for gauging a vehicle’s popularity and understanding the market demand. Without it, buyers are left in the dark, unable to make informed decisions. This is not only frustrating but feels like an intentional move to create a false sense of scarcity, enabling sellers to inflate prices further. By removing this feature, the app has effectively turned itself into a playground for opportunistic sellers. With buyers unable to judge the market fairly, sellers can now jack up prices without any fear of losing out to competition because the demand is now entirely obscured. It’s a blatant disregard for transparency and fairness, and it leaves users at a significant disadvantage. To make matters worse, this move comes off as highly anti-consumer. It almost feels like the app developers are more interested in catering to sellers, perhaps to boost their own profits through increased transaction volumes or commission fees, rather than ensuring a fair and transparent marketplace. If you’re a buyer looking for a fair shot at purchasing a vehicle at a reasonable price, I’d recommend steering clear of this app until they undo this ill-advised change. Until then, this app has lost my trust.
