This app has the potential to be really good, but it has several limitations that hold it back from reaching its potential. I will say that the women are much more attractive than on hinge and tinder, and unlike Tinder, there are much fewer fake accounts, although fake accounts still exist on bumble. The women that I’ve actually had the chance to meet up with, which is a low number due to the time limit, have been quality matches that I felt a connection with. However, the time limit once you match is a horrible aspect of the app. The woman has 24 hours to message you, which you can extend to 48 hours, but after that period runs out, the match disappears forever! Most women have busy lives and don’t check dating apps 24/7, meaning that your chances are slim of getting a message before the time limit is up. On tinder, for example, it can be a few days to a week before they respond. The time limit makes it so that your odds of ever messaging and potentially meeting up with your match are greatly diminished. It genuinely makes no sense. Plus, and I hate to generalize but it’s true, women do not like to make the first move. I understand that the idea behind this is to protect the woman from creeps, but can’t they simply block and report the guy if he’s a perv? Why make dating harder than it has to be? Considering what the prices are for this app, you’d think they’d make it easier. I honestly can’t justify paying this much for an app that quickly takes away your matches and doesn’t let you make the first move. Dating shouldn’t be this hard. Make it make sense.
