Bug Fixes - The "Resume Open Rescue" footer no longer sticks around after you complete a rescue - Fixed region name cutoff in the Impact page dropdown - Fixed an issue where some volunteers got stuck in a rescue or taken backward when tapping buttons quickly or experiencing brief network interruptions. Improvements - Volunteers will be prompted to call the dispatch line when they attempt to drop a rescue within a given notice period, which can be customized for your organization. - Improved compatibility with different screen sizes, edges, and native device controls. - Optimized the speed and responsiveness of the Available Rescues screen. - Improved phone number entry and display, with formatting for international numbers.

We’ve improved network stability and resolved issues that were preventing some users from accessing the app: • Fixed unexpected logouts that occurred during network interruptions • Resolved splash screen loading issues on app startup • Fixed infinite loading spinners that appeared when reconnecting to the network The app now handles network changes more smoothly, whether you’re switching between WiFi and cellular or experiencing temporary connectivity issues.

- It used to be too easy to drop a template—that yellow button was hard to resist. Now it’s slightly more difficult to inadvertently drop a recurring rescue when you just want to request a sub. - We’ve eradicated the last vestige of no-contact imperatives in our app. (We still love our introverted volunteers!) - Our app went rogue, practically extorting you for notification permissions in exchange for access to certain rescues. Our engineers have successfully neutralized the threat. - Mobile users on Apple devices running on older OS versions (iOS 16 or older) weren’t able to use the app, but now they can! Planned obsolescence just isn’t our bag, baby.

Fixes an issue where not enabling push notifications prevented the map from loading by default.

These rescues occur at the same time and place each week, and allow you to build relationships with our food donors and nonprofit partners, making you their favorite food rescue friend! Sign up for, request a sub, or drop a weekly rescue at any time right from your app! We've also squashed some bugs and made some performance improvements!
