ManGo is a clean MyAnimeList anime & manga tracker for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. You can keep track of anime you're watching and manga you're reading, as well as view detailed information about all of your favourite series.
This is ManGo:
• Track what you're watching & reading
Do you always forget where you left off? Easily mark episodes as watched and volumes as read to keep track of your progress. You can also track rewatches/rereads, add a score or some notes, and more. You can even track anime on your Apple Watch! All information is kept secure and up-to-date with your MyAnimeList account.
• Seasonal anime & Rankings
Browse a full overview of upcoming and continuing shows and quickly find any shows you're missing out on. Still have a huge backlog? Explore the rankings for anime, manga, movies and more, to find those must-watch / must-read series.
• Notifications & Live Activities
Get alerts when a new episode of one of your shows is out or when a show first starts airing! There is also a 'Binge Session' Live Activity to track anime & manga directly on your Lock Screen & Dynamic Island.
• Incredible Widgets
A wide selection of Home Screen & Lock Screen widget makes tracking fast and easy. They're all interactive as well, so you don't even have to open the app to track progress!
• Spotify & Apple Music Integration
Automatically search the Spotify & Apple Music catalogs for anime openings & endings.
• Apple Watch & Apple Vision Pro
ManGo offers an incredibly powerful companion right on your wrist. With complications and support for the Smart Stack, tracking progress has never been easier. The app is also one of the first apps available natively on Apple Vision Pro.
• Extensive Customization
Make the app fit your needs with power features like tweaking the UI, fully custom gestures, custom app tints/themes/icons, and more (optional one-time ManGo+ purchase required).
Note: ManGo - Anime & Manga Tracker is a third party app which uses the MyAnimeList API and is in no way affiliated with MyAnimeList.net.
This app offers a "ManGo+" version with additional features, in the form of a lifetime purchase, a monthly subscription, or a yearly subscription. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period and will be charged to your iTunes account. You can turn off auto-renew/manage subscriptions in your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Love the app but there’s one thing I hope to see improved
CR7-Ronaldo
I love the apps clean UI and smooth UX which is definitely a huge plus compared to the official MAL app. One thing I would love to see is easier switching between categories such as “watching” and “planning to watch” without having to press twice, maybe a right/left swap gesture on top of the button to switch between all categories.
Suffers From Its Reliance on MyAnimeList for Manga Data
DanielHaven
While MyAnimeList is reliable as a source of anime updates, its manga updates lag behind. For instance, this app has little data about the total chapters/volumes available. Only with huge names like Vagabond does it show that information. Meanwhile, even Chainsaw Man gets the question mark in place of total chapters available.I would give this app four stars, but because it advertises itself as a Manga Tracker, I rate it on the value it purports to provide. It is pretty reliable on Anime Tracking because MAL is reliable on that front, but it needs to find a separate source for manga tracking. Primarily, I wish for a singular place to be notified of new chapters for all the manga I’m tracking.
Anime Notifications 🥲
PageMonki
The main reason I downloaded this app was because of the anime notification feature, this app would have easily been five stars in my book if this feature worked as intended, I’ve noticed unfortunately, that this feature does not work properly about 80% of the time. I noticed most of the anime I set to have notifications on for, for some reason don’t save that setting and there is no save button so I can’t really confirm if this was saved in the first place. For me, this is a huge downside since this is the whole reason I downloaded this app over the official MyAnimeList app. Other than that all of the features work perfectly, and the UI is a step up from the official app.

I’ll make sure to improve this in a future update, sorry for the delayed reply here! - Joost
Great MAL Alternative
Pasicho
The UI and gesture controls alone make the using MAL far more usable than the mobile site or official app. Especially now that the official MAL app is adding ads. The dev is also currently active on improving the app. So far there’s no reason not to at least try the free version which is very usable. The in-app purchase for this app is very affordable imo which is another plus.
