Everything is seamless, without many bugs. The device/app is only as good as much as you use it, and interact with others, or simply converse with it. This will build a user profile that, should, in theory know you better than yourself.My only knock on it, is I wish it had a more therapeutic response to its questions. There has to be a built in “coach” mode, where the AI will analyze your conversation, along with the memories, and tell you, you did well here, here's an area I'd work on/”here's a tip for an interview, if you feel like you struggled”. Bee is also only as good as the AI model behind it, and I don't know which one it is, but it needs to be upgraded. It is probably GPT 3.5, and often hallucinates. Potential is through the roof, so I'll give it a 5, but it’s really a 4, and just barely a 4. The pioneer disconnects ALL THE TIME if Bee isn't in the background/foreground apps, which is infuriating, as I frequently kill my apps, and kill Bee out of habit.

I was looking for a better way to document my crazy days of being pulled in many directions. Leaving voice notes don’t work because then I’ve got to go back through them all, and even then, I couldn’t cut through all the unnecessary to summarize it as well as Bee does!I tried it out on my watch first, but understandably, it killed my battery. So I purchased the recorder device because it was only $50. Battery life on it is great and I can’t believe how well it understands what I’m driving at. I made the shortcut button to give me relationship advice, and dude…it’s freaking smart. I had a conversation in Spanish with a girl in Colombia while on my headset, and it figured out the topic, her name, and gave me intelligent advice 🤯🤯. Honestly, this is the very first time that I’ve seen AI have tremendous value and not just be a “buzz” word (pardon the pun). I’d like to see the reminders/tasks become more robust and allow for categories. Maybe some sort of planner; where I can put “must be done: this week, next week, this month, or specify a month” to work as a sort of master list.Otherwise, it’s not a Bee+, but an A+ from me!!

So I started getting a bunch of adds about a personal assistant and decided to do a little homework. Compared to the competitors, Bee gives you the MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. None of them are perfect and while others may learn differently, what I like about the Bee is that it’s coachable. If it gets things wrong, you can simply tell it and it corrects itself. It’s so helpful for a scatter-braking like myself. I can wear to a conference or meeting and it tells me all the names of people I met and reminds me to follow up with those that I promised I would. What I also like is that it can take my experiences and personally relate them to me based on what it’s learned about me along the way. This thing rocks and I never leave home without it. App has some significant bugs that make it frustrating and unenjoyable to use.- Tagging people in conversations is line by line. But the worst part is the that 95% of the tags don’t persist.- linking your Google work calendar pulls in ALL calendars (of other employees) that you can view. The connection screen allows you to uncheck other people’s calendars but the app doesn’t honor the check boxes and injects other people’s appointments into summaries of “your” day. Further, I tried to disconnect and reconnect but it doesn’t actually reconnect (after success from Google). So the app doesn’t account for invalidating existing Oauth. Even further, “disconnecting” doesn’t actually invalidate the auth on the Google side (ie. go to Google and their access/scope is still enabled).- I thought uninstalling/reinstalling the app might clear things up but trying to login, a successful login (on the Apple side) isn’t recognized so the app just remains “bricked” on the first login screen. For all these reasons, as someone who runs a soc2 compliant data software business with millions of business records flowing through it, I cannot fathom how anyone’s personal data is secure. Happy to dialogue with the developers but the support links to their home page.
