CheckPoints #1 Rewards App 17+

The daily checkins have disappeared and no explanation why, is this a glitch? Also the location does not update and it keeps showing my home address even if I am miles away? Do the app developers read these comments?
Update as of June 23, 2022, this app is gotten worse this used to be a good app. As other reviewers have posted they still have a glitch with duplicate receipts people do shop
Add a store more than one time. Takes forever to get your gift card you have to email them and let them know you haven’t gotten your gift card and then it still takes about 10 days. It does not allow you to check in even though the notification pops up on your phone to check in. I don’t know why they can’t fix us does anybody there use the app and know how glitchy it is

All the reviews are true and I’m not sure how you can have so many complaints about an app and still give it 3 stars. I have been using this app for about 3 years. It was never good. It has only gotten worse. 1. Very glitchy - doesn’t give you credit for scanned receipts and claims that you are uploading “duplicate” receipts all the time. 2. The points are very low for each receipt. It takes about 67 receipts to earn $1 in reward gift cards. 3. The daily “check-in” points no longer gives you rewards for checking in and it says there are no rewards at this time. 4. The “jackpot” winner has not changed in the 3 years I have used this app. The winner is still PATTY H from HARRISBURG, PA that won 150,000 point jackpot. 5. Yes it does take almost 2 months to received your gift card reward after selecting your rewards, and that is after you sent an inquiry requesting the status of your reward. 6. I am almost pretty sure this is the 2nd or 3rd time I have given a review. I think they are erasing the reviews or burying them. This is ABSOLUTELY the WORST and MOST FRUSTRATING rebate app. SAVE YOUR TIME AND PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE EFFORT.

The number one issue with this app is it is consistently glitchy/buggy. For example, there is an option to link debit cards to in exchange for higher point values per receipt (i.e. 40 points for a debit-linked Target receipt vs. 5 points for a non-linked Target receipt). The issue is usually this feature doesn’t work. I’ll try for almost two full weeks and continuously receive a message stating the transaction can’t be located on the account (despite re-linking the account over and over again). The second biggest issue is support/help. Other apps almost always at least respond to you eventually. I’ve reached out several times to CheckPoint and have never received a response one time. The third issue is it does take a long time to acquire enough points to cash out even $5 (like maybe once a year with approximately 30-40 regularly uploading receipts on average weekly). Not a complete waste of time, but close to it!
