So far I’m really enjoying the game. I got really excited to check this out when I heard about the event with The Rising of the Shield Hero but besides that the game mechanics are simple enough to use and aren’t confusing which is pretty awesome. The art is cute and simple and even minor characters that don’t have evolutionary stages are pretty well designed that I found one that I liked it’s design enough that I thought it was unfortunate to not have an evolutionary line of its own. The story is interesting so far and is pretty linear and not all over the place. The game is also pretty helpful towards newbies so I thought that was pretty nice of them. The only issues I would have if I participated in chat stuff is that the chat won’t really stop to allow you to read any previous messages it seems and will instantly move along with any new chats. Also it seems there’s something that’s spam-able to get attention from anyone playing to chat that can be used by anyone in chat where a text will show up in the middle of the screen, I’m not sure if this is exactly what it is but it’s my only guess as to why I was seeing a random nonsensical message pop up so much while I was playing the game. It only seems to come up while you are in the town though so it doesn’t distract you on missions.

I’ve gotten this game 2-3 years ago and every time I come back there’s a new update or event. It’s not pay to win and the little goodies everyday/week are nice such as things you would have to pay for. I always find myself admiring the pixel art which looks really good. Illustrated characters in the story line are great as well ;D New events and things keep me occupied and the game really doesn’t get old. All the characters have their own backstories and overall think the game is really well done. You can make certain teams with different combos for different things. I think the pvp system could be done differently with a separate arena for real time pvp ( not against bots ), they have a quick battle mode which has this but it isn’t ranked. I also think there should be an option to speed up these ranked matches because unless you have a quick team wipe build, your main concern isn’t whether or not you have enough colosseum tickets ( thing you use to enter pvp ), it’s whether or not you have enough time. There’s so much other things about this game that I like and you should try this out, things are slow at first but as it out advance it’s more fun. Found this game in a free my apps thing as well and ended up loving it. I rarely write reviews for games and have a nice day! :D

This game is really a hidden gem and there’s plenty to do and variety that makes a lot of other games feel like less. As an experienced player, I could say that this game is pretty easy at the start but forces you to get together a build and an actually viable team really fast. Even as a free to play player, you could get through a lot of the story with a lot of the free to play characters. Yes, having a premium character does make it easier but it’s not entirely impossible. If you’re a new player and you know what to go for, you can get in this game really fast and burn through to late game. However, I feel like game doesn’t do a good job a introducing mechanics such as fishing (which is a pretty important part of progression) and what to get in dungeons. It makes it look deceiving and makes you waste a lot of resources on something you probably won’t need or won’t get enough of for your time. This game caters towards late game players and doesn’t really address issues that newer players have.

When I say forced, I mean why forced AI to be so difficult after endgame and having to pay money to get broken characters (majority of the time u don’t get said character that is needed for a specific run). I remember a time in the game where u actually worked for your characters and not pay to Lvl up, raid keys, food, weapons etc. The games has potential but needs more work. Actually make the enemies at a reasonable lvl instead of having them over 100+ like why??. Majority of the time I have to use the same 3 heroes throughout the game because they’re the only ones that can take them. Also, why are the raids after new stories so near impossible to beat. I feel as though I’m not getting my times worth at all and that i am disappointed in. I’ve literally put in the build and time to get all 70+ characters to what I need, but I still get overpowered even if I have all hero specific weapons. Can u rework enemies, food, and exp to where I feel as though I’m gaining something out of this??. Every hero in the game has potential but they are showered by broken ones. I’ve played the game since it came out and I would like to see actually changes in the game to where I can enjoy myself. If not then I must sadly uninstall it had something good going until paid to win became the new meta.
