Intuitive and Secure Cloud Storage Done Right

With clients in finance and pharmaceuticals, I needed a cloud storage service that would allow me a certain level of security-compliant controls while still be flexible enough to store, sync, and share files across various devices. For both small businesses or enterprises, the service and product offerings are suitable to address any security concerns. The syncing process and version controls is highly transparent and effective ensuring that all devices have the most up-to-date files and the entitlement controls for team members allows us to control who has access to files (clients or collaborators) with little to no hassle. The companion mobile app allows me to quickly and easily upload files from email to share with others or simply have stored and synced with all devices when needed.

Take a serious look at Egnytes service and product offerings. You may be pleasantly surprised.

As an IT consultant that has been using this system for 12 years, it’s undoubtedly one of the most intuitive and exceptional services we use. One of the last companies with a great tech support that responds quickly and effectively. Our team loves it as does our clients. They’ve been way ahead of the game on configurations, management and features though some have caught up but still not as good. Highly recommended Egnyte for a hybrid cloud file system.

An has-been app/buyer beware

I once touted this app as a must have for small businesses, but it’s only current worth is to recommend it to your competitors so they spend valuable resources working with Egnyte tech support.

The app and its “upgrades” have degraded significantly over the 2 yrs we’ve been customers. I’m currently traveling, I can’t get to Wi-Fi for my laptop, my app is frozen updating the file server (Egnyte side issue), and I have a client requesting information I can’t get to yet. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail. I’ve spoken to tech support, they just pushed it up (or down) the chain of command. 6 hrs and no update, no response. He’ll, if it’s something I’ve done, I’ll give a glowing review, but how do I know when there is no communication. If you don’t need the mobile app, the desktop version works about 95% of the time and I can recommend it, but proceed with caution. You’ve been warned. 2 stars because of desktop.
