Facebook is wonderful for reconnecting with old friends, and staying in touch with friends and family! It’s also wonderful for making new friends who have similar interests and beliefs. However, the censorship, the lack of human involvement in determining what is, and is not appropriate as far as Facebook’s community standards is extremely flawed! People have posts removed, because a single word flags computer to mark the content as inappropriate, when, in fact, the full contentis very appropriate, and even supportive of those who may be dealing with particular hardships. You can’t say the word suicide on Facebook, without risking getting banned or putting in Facebook jail for 48 hours, when, in fact, you are posting some thing that is meant to be supportive and helpful to those who are suffering and conflicted. This is wrong! And it should be fixed, because it’s becoming so out of hand, that people don’t try to help other people anymore. They don’t want to deal with the algorithms hassling them, When they’re just trying to help. This is just one example of the problems with Facebook; it’s an ability to properly determine what, and doesn’t go against community standards, which is undermining, free speech, and promoting censorship!

My personal profile of 20+ years on Facebook Was disabled without notice due to a linked Instagram account that was not mine and that I had no access to! The only option given to appeal was to log into the Instagram account to file an appeal: Well kind of hard to do when it’s not your Instagram account, you have no access to it and Instagram help and support was anything but. Facebook was absolutely no help themselves. The help/support Center is a joke. I lost all access to my personal page and two business pages in which I had active ads running, of course Facebook went ahead and charged me for those ads even though I could not access them or control them. I even went so far as to creating a new profile in order to access some of the features in the help support center, and that was a dead end! you do not realize how much you use and rely on your Facebook account to store information and access lots of other other things until you totally lose all control of it due to no fault of your own. Apparently small businesses in the world as myself are pretty insignificant and not worth the time of giant corporate businesses such as meta! The amount of chaos, headache, stress, and even loss of business due to my Facebook accounts, being disabled cannot even be put into words. So yes, my rating would be Facebook as a whole and their app is a joke!

I’ll leave my old review done there from when Facebook messenger sprouted off in to a new app. However this app in the last 11 years or so of me using it has. 1.) targeted me with negative posts (I am bipolar and when they were running this experiment)I had no idea and ended up checking in to a facility. 2.) even with my political preference in my profile they still poured the other party down my throat every election year 3.) the people who use add space often don’t send out the product 4.) their intrusive way of advertising listens in to whatever we say, if you don’t believe me spend 15 min talking about a random thing close the app and then open it boom adds for thing. 5.) now the open chat for like random groups the general chat. Sooooooooooo annoying. I don’t want 99 notifications about people chatting I like most people has been cowed in to using Facebook! However this is the worst app ever. It's slow it's realitivlty ugly and you can't preform all the functions that you can on Facebook web as easily! Most people are running Facebook and the Facebook messenger! Taking down posts is near impossible you normally end up somehow back at the top of your news feed. And reporting posts takes so long you may as well keep seeing the male sexual organ on the screen!
