I looked far and wide, and tested everything I came across, trying to find a grocery shopping list app, that filled my needs - AND actually worked...LISTONIC is that App! It has everything you could possibly want or need in a single app! You can list multiple stores; in each store you enter the items and there are many categories; for each item you can list the quantity, how calculated (ie: oz,lb, gal, etc.), price, and any specific notes on product. The list can than be shared thru emails of your selection! The ONLY complaint I have, of this app, is the inability to change or delete items on the cumulative shopping list! All-in-all that’s probably a minor issue, and the App is definitely worth 5 ⭐️!!

This looked like a great option to replace the flaky, annoying Reminders app for shared lists. I downloaded it on my and my wife’s phones, transferred my lists, signed up for premium, and was pretty hopeful about it. Firstly, ads were still showing on my app. I emailed support— telling them that had signed in and hitting the premium subscription option told me I was already subscribed— and they got back to me 2 days later to tell me to make sure I was signed in. So, I sent them a bunch of screenshots and then 2 days later they got back to me to tell me it was a “server malfunction.” Ok... it happens. Less than a week later I was putting my grocery list together through the website interface. I’m guessing it has something to do with the fact that I had two browser windows open with the lists showing— my grocery list just disappears. I tried signing out and in again... still nothing. Still available in the app, so I signed in and out in the app in hopes it would re-upload it... it didn’t. I’m a software developer so I have an idea of how the back-end of systems like this work... this is either someone who doesn’t care, or has no idea what they’re doing. Someone actually charging people for a system with beta-level reliability is just sad.

Then, voila, like magic everyone can access the various lists (grocery store, Trader Joe’s, Hardware store) and add to them (Sissy wants apples and bananas and chocolate, Mom wants ingredients for dinners, Dad wants some things for a BBQ, brother loves a specific brand of cereal in a certain flavor).Whatever it is, just add it to the list. Then some of us go shopping, grab a few things and put into the cart. Then take it off the list- it updates everyone’s list, so we can see what to keep shopping for. Very efficient- how technology should be!

Then, voila, like magic everyone can access the various lists (grocery store, Trader Joe’s, Hardware store) and add to them (Sissy wants apples and bananas and chocolate, Mom wants ingredients for dinners, Dad wants some things for a BBQ, brother loves a specific brand of cereal in a certain flavor).Whatever it is, just add it to the list. This is app is fantastic. Before I go food shopping I list all of the things I will need. I share my list with my family that way we won’t duplicate items. Once it is on the cart we check it off - it’s that easy!! I also create a list as I notice we are low on something or we’ve ran out. For the first time, I am able to complete a holiday grocery shopping list. I wrote down my menu, what ingredients I would need to create this menu and begin to cross off item that I already have in my pantry. There is a icon where you can delete all of your crossed out items and what you are left with is you shopping list! This was a good find!
