Meet a few friends who talked me into getting my Amateur Technician License and the recommended this app. Gotta say I found the format for reviewing sections and taking sample test suited for my learning style. You can study each test section questions which are comprised of the current list of test questions for the exam. No studying things that would show up which is a big plus for me. Then you can take quizzes on each section to see how much you retain for that section. For the Sample Exam it mixes up the 35 questions, by the way that’s how many is one the exam, and flashes green if you got it correct/ red if you didn’t. At the end it shows the % and number correct along with the questions you missed so you can review them and the correct answer.Just downloaded the HRE-General to study for that next. Can’t beat the simple and effective way this app helps you study, definitely give it a shot.Thanks to the developer for creating this and all the rest!!!

I took a Zoom Ham Radio operators prep class, which helped me with the basic language/terminology. Our instructor advised to download a prep app and I chose this one. I started taking the sample exams about a week ago and was feeling so defeated as I was only scoring 50-60%. I kept at it though and a few more sample exams I was scoring consistent 80%, and even higher as the week went on. I passed my exam yesterday on my first attempt and only missed 3 questions. After doing the practice exams over and over, when I did the real one, the answers jumped right out at me. I was done with the test within probably 10 minutes. The sample exam questions are word for word what I saw on the official exam. Thank you so much!

This is a terrific app for those studying for the Technician Exam for an FCC license as a ham radio operator. I used it extensively to help me pass the exam. The app allows you to read all the questions on the test along with the correct and incorrect answers. You can take a sample quiz for each section which again will show you which answers you got right or wrong and the correct answer in the case where you missed a question. Once you feel you are ready, you can take sample full test as many times as you want to see how you will do on the actually exam. I used this app and the Gordon West book to pass the exam and would recommend this app as a key study tool.

A very good app for getting tour ham radio license. Easy to use, practice test to check your progress, with incorrect answers shown so you can work on those a little more. Three separate apps, technician, general and extra. I started out to just get the tech license and it went so well with the app, I decided to go for the general as well. Still had a couple of weeks before test time so i said what the heck might as well go for all three. And I passed all three at one testing. I only used these apps, reading through all the questions a couple of times a day only focusing on the correct answers. I limited my study time to about 20 to 30 minutes per session, any longer and I would lose focus.Very hapoy with the apps, don’t know that I could have gotten all three in such a short time without using these. There are other apps and also online study guides, these are the ones I ended up with. I did try online and a couple of other apps, but these just seemed perfect for me. Plus they are free. Ky4ui
