Omg their customer Support truly listening

Last time, I was very frustrated with the latest update of the Tiger app regarding their dividend details, as it was difficult to track. I sent feedback about this issue, but today, I’m delighted to see that they fixed it after just one month. What surprised me is that they truly listened to their customers’ needs. I’ll be more than happy to allocate more funds to Tiger Broker.

Too complicated

Their account opening is so complicated and time wasting. Although I had an account with them before and they have my full informations, they asked for too many information which I provided in FULL, but after more than a month they came saying they regret to reject my application. Very poor customer service. It’s about investing money where every day counts. While this company doesn’t seem to value time.There are many online brokers worldwide that are ranked higher than this broker and no reason to stick with a broker full of hustles. As a Saudi Arabia citizen, it will be not efficient nor wise to deal with a company in Singapore with this attitude.

I was referred to TradeUp by a friend because of their low margin rate, which is very useful as someone who uses margin often. Their customers service is also friendly and helpful. One downside is that I had a hard time linking my bank initially

1. Customer service requires you wait for at least 1.5 hours 2. It costs $100 per stock to transfer out of tiger 3. You cannot sell covered calls on your existing holding. They will claim that you don’t have sufficient funds. Hello? I’m holding equivalent in stock? Just hold the stock as collateral? 4. The English in this app is horrible If you are a newbie to trading and you speak Chinese, great. Use this. Otherwise please do yourself a favor and use a grown up broker.
