My only big issue right now has to do with split screen multitasking. *Every time* you multitask with the app and it’s taking up a quarter of the screen, the side bar protrudes into view. I usually will have my note taking app taking 3/4 of the screen and the video lecture in the left 1/4. Doing this causes that left side bar (course term selection screen) to obscure the lecture video.Thank you for adding the ability to do “Audio Only” lectures and also I can now have the lecture open in Slide Over, and listen to the lecture while having my note taking app full screen.
Developer Response
Thanks for the information. We will be looking into the issues soon and will be optimizing the apps for tablet use
Worst Update I’ve Seen
VF player for four years
#1 There’s no more option for 1.5 speed. Only 1.25, 1.75, and 2.0. #2: iPad has no option to flip the camera from the lecturer to the presentation slides themselves. #3: when i do split screen on iPad Pro, it takes up 3/5 of my screen and i have no room to use my GoodNotes notetaking app for efficient note taking. When I try to shorten the Echo window, that’s the only way I can have it fit 1/2 of my screen. But then, I am not getting the full view of Echo. Please update these 3 features.
This app

Is this really the best you can do? All the devs that were a part of this app development absolutely failed. This app barely works. Not sure who is in charge as far as development and budgeting but you absolutely missed the mark. For an app that’s supposed to help students, this is by far the most basic and yet is done poorly. Do you even read the reviews? It’s terrible. If I was a lead for an app or the company behind it, I would be ashamed to attach my name to this app. Hugely disappointing. Needs an overhaul. Also, posting copy and paste responses are of no help. Really shows how much care is placed on consumers… which is none.Issues list: Always logs you out for no reason / video quality is in 360p / audio quality is 2005 / app itself is extremely glitchy and consistently crashes / and many more.
Great Offline Access, but Needs Improved Sorting Features
saph_16
Just the fact that I can have all my lectures offline (if I download them) together is already good. However, I still hope that some of the features available on the website can be added as well, like the sort function. Currently, the lectures can only be sorted alphabetically; however, my class lectures aren’t sorted alphabetically in our syllabus. I really hope this can be fixed.
App improvements and bug fixes including
- Background audio playback
- Tap on the left and right sides of the video to skip forward and back
- Download to your camera reel based on instructor settings
- Quadravision Support
