We signed up and paid for this app while our two sons were at camp. The camp did not capture any photos of our son other than in the large group pictures (200 people in the picture). I was disappointed that I paid for the app and they didn’t capture him. I then got an email from Waldo that they were refunding me the cost for my one son because they noticed we did not get pictures of him. This was completely initiated by them and I was completely shocked! What integrity for a company to do so even when I had not written a complaint about it. Very very impressed. This app identifies faces very successfully. Every picture our other son was in, even in the distant background, they identified him.

I purchased this app because my daughter is away at camp for two weeks and I thought it would be great to be able to open a link and see pictures of her after 2 days on the third day I finally received a notification that Waldo found pictures of my daughter. What an epic disappointment…I received three pictures of three different girls none of which was mine and one that was clearly darker complexion with very dark hair. I scrolled through a thousand pictures and was actually able to find 5 pictures of my daughter and save them to the app. I was unable to delete the pictures of the girls that were saved to my profile. Then after I myself went through a thousand pictures and found and saved five of my daughter the app sent me notification saying that it found five additional photos of her …when I opened the notices they were actually the photos that I had taken the time to find and save on my own. Then I thought it was cool that I could send a postcard from the app and it said it was free. So I created the postcard. However I ran out of characters mid sentence so I thought I would just edit it but I spent 45 minutes trying to edit the post card and the app just would not perform. I gave up and ended up sending the post card as it was….but it wasn’t free as it initially said. I paid $1.99 . I wouldn’t have minded to pay for the post card if I were actually able to edit the thing. What a scam! I wanted to love this app but really regret spending the money on it. Waste of money!

Waldo was chosen as the photographer for a hockey tournament . I paid in advance and didn’t see any photo’s. When I reached out, they told me there were still two games left and photographer would be there. I reached out several more times and still no photos. Finally, several days later, I received three not so great pictures of almost the same exact shot. I reached out again and they told me they would refund my money. That doesn’t change the fact that I missed out on photos of this year’s event because I was told to relax and let them take the pictures. I am so unhappy. They acted like it wasn’t a big deal at all. I hope the tournament goes back to photographer that was used in prior years because this was an absolute failure. We always get the team package and get amazing shots. I don’t even have a team picture now because I have not seen it and because I don’t trust it to be decent, I refuse to send Waldo money to buy it. I am going to look into reporting them to the BBB because of the complete failure of providing what was promised.

love this app and have had great success with it this summer. sometimes it misses the kids if they are faced a weird direction or they are way in the back and small which is understandablei have ordered postcards from here. i wish there was a way to see what i ordered and if they were actually mailed. i won’t know until my camper gets home. this is a great app IF the photographer uploads the photos. i see lots of negative reviews but mostly due to someone not uploading enough photos. that has nothing to do with the app. i love the notification settings and how easily i can download and send to our family.
