I have been in EMS since 1991. This class and this app has had more positive effect on patient care than anything I have seen in my career. I hold instructorship in a multitude of disciplines but Handtevy is by far my favorite to teach. To see my peers, most well seasoned, have that “AhHa” moment during class is priceless. The app takes all the stress away from medication dosages which lowers the stress of the call. Providers come to me all the time to brag about how easy the call was and that they stayed on scene just like adults.
An Excellent App All Emergency Responders Should Have!

While I'm not new to EMS, I only began using Handtevy and the Handtevy App about 3 years ago. It's an excellent resource for all age patients, not just pediatrics. What is especially helpful is that the app can be modified to your agency's protocols. It promotes confidence when providing pediatric emergency care once providers learn to navigate the 4 key steps, which is very easy to do! I personally wish it had been around much earlier in my career. I highly recommend both the app and taking the class ASAP!

Handtevy has become a critical tool for CSFD providers. It improves patient care by offering pre-calculated, weight-based medication dosing and easy to follow treatment guidelines, which helps reduce errors and saves time on scene. The program also improves team coordination and strengthens each provider’s confidence during high stress/low frequency pediatric calls. Overall, I feel that Handtevy enhances both the efficiency and safety of pediatric care in the prehospital setting, leading to better patient outcomes.

I’m taking the time to write this review because I just took the Handtevy Instructor course. It was one of the best classes I’ve ever had the opportunity to take. I’m so impressed by how easy and structured the course was to learn. The instructor was very knowledgeable about the course and was very helpful. I would recommend this app and the course to anyone. I am blessed to have been able to learn it. Thank you for the opportunity!
