This app was always a little finicky but it did the job it was supposed to… but in June 2025 they decided to upgrade to a new technology stack and it’s now useless. After the “upgrade”, tracking was inconsistent (missed multiple days at time) and even when it did track the times were completely wrong. Attempts to reach out to customer service were futile (probably because they were overwhelmed) but for an app that was on the more expensive end of the spectrum they really f’d up this rollout. Avoid this app and go for one of the cheaper alternatives like TaxBird or Sarmiza

Over the years, TaxDay was a decent, easy to use app, even if on the expensive side. In early 2025 they did a major software change and it rarely tracks locations correctly. Support is slow to respond and always says a fix is on the way, that doesn’t fix. If you want a tax tracking app, TaxDay is NOT able to do that. Sad for them, they have destroyed their product.

App no longer works at all doesn’t track your days. They told me they made an upgrade in July 2025 that caused an issue that has since been fixed, but it’s not true. The app doesn’t track your days. Appeals to customer service are very spotty. I tried multiple times to appeal and didn’t always get an answer. Time to get a new tracking app.
