I like to play music by folder. And I like to play through folders. With this product I number my music files with one being the first entry. The sorting is reversed of what I would expect but the play back is my desired sequence. I would love to choose between sorting ascending vs descending. The DSD DoP function is not working yet with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It did work with older iPhones. Hopefully that can be fixed

They make great audiophile products so I thought, why not? It’s a great looking app and I love transferring all my FLAC files to my phone using the web interface, but that’s about it. The first red flag is that this app gets updated every few years or so. That bug you found will be fixed during the next Winter Olympics or Summer Olympics. The usability is so clunky. Something as simple as adding a full album to a playlist will shuffle the songs with the existing songs in the playlist. Why? Other apps will add to the end of the playlist in the album order. The rewind button takes you right to the beginning of the previous song. Why? I want to play a song again, not go to the previous song. That’s a double tap on the rewind button in other apps. Heaven forbid you shuffle a playlist and hit that rewind button because it will shuffle the previous songs. At the gym and need to hear that song again for the next hard set? Forget it. I can go on and on but I just recommend you use a different app for to play your FLAC files.
Doesn’t work with DLNA/LAN

I used to love this app, since it was one of the rare free ones that play DSDs on iPhone. It also used to work flawlessly with my music library stored on a Synology NAS. However, somewhere down the line (after one of the updates), it stopped working with DLNA. I have tested with two different DLNA apps, the Synology native and the minimserver. HiByMusic can see the albums, artists etc. With the Synology app, HiByMusic crashes while accessing the album playlist. With minimserver, the album shows blank playlist with no tracks. DLNA works with other players like mconnect, just not with HiByMusic. Both my iPad and iPhone shows the same behavior and it has been there for many months.

I really love this app I tried so many and none beat it. I don’t have whatever mp3 player the brand also makes, I just use it because of the great feature to make folders in the files app and import your music to that. All I ask is please add cross fade! And also, if you move a song to a different folder and it’s in a playlist, the playlist will not understand the change and not play the song.
1. Fixed the situation that after upgrading to iOS18, the UI display of some models was covered;
2. Compatible with some new iPhones that cannot output DSD signals through DoP;
