Polly Lingual is a multi-faceted learning platform for studying foreign languages. We currently offer courses in Spanish, French, Chinese, German, Italian, Arabic, Hebrew, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Dutch and English.
We understand that different learning techniques are suited for different parts of the foriegn-langauge acquisition experience. Our interactive lessons provide students with rote exercises to master foundational vocabulary and grammar, while Polly Ambassadors bring students all the way to fluency through live video tutoring.
The interactive lessons use a variety of proven algorithms to make learning efficient and engaging. To gain access to all the lessons and advanced features requires a Polly Passport subscription.
Polly Ambassadors are available for private video sessions to help student with pronunciation, practice conversation, learn local dialects, and more. Videos sessions are sold separately, or by 5- and 10-session bundles, depending on the Ambassador. Some Ambassadors even offer 30-minute trial lessons.
The options for a subscription are: Monthly subscription for $US2.99 (or the equivalent in local currency), and Annual subscription for $US9.99 (or the equivalent in local currency).
Subscriptions automatically renew, unless auto-renew is turned off in your iTunes App Store preference at least 24-hours before the beginning of the next payment cycle. Upon cancellation of your subscription, access to the premium lessons will terminate at the end of the current payment cycle.

When I open some lessons I get a subscription need notice when I already have the fully subscription. It won’t let me access some lessons because of this. I use apple because of if high standards, this app is “currently “ underperforming.

I love the teaching methods, especially learning to recognize spoken phrases.There are great explanations of the grammar.The videos explain Spanish unique use of words in different situations****** Caution: When watching the videos, keep your iPad in vertical position. Then you will be able to see the written version of the video at bottom of screen as well as the return to main menu at top of page. If I held my iPad horizontally, I only saw the video and could not find a way to exit the video.

The options to “Post on Twitter / Facebook” don’t respond when Click those options. I was able to activate the 3rd option “rate on iTunes” and that’s why I’m here.This app has really been a help to me. I think the creators are brilliant. They can keep adding but honestly there is enough to teach you how to communicate with a Hebrew speaking person. This is year three for me. Anyway, its cool and I don’t mind paying cause it has been a help to me.

I’m paid up, but lesson sections on the app do not open. I’ve tried everything I can think of, but no joy. I liked it when it worked and paid for it. But now it is useless to me. I didn’t use for a few weeks and when I tried to check a point of grammar I was locked out. The website generates a canned response and does not function properly. I’ve tried from different email addresses to reset my password, thinking that might help, but the app is in a loop and will not function properly. My annual fee was paid in October 2024, and I will not renew.
