you loose or gain like half of mm every day so after a month you have to reconfigure lowest and highest point, which you cannot do without resetting device, which means you have to input wifi password again, then wait it to go to highest point, then lowest point, whole wizard takes time and effort. Also sometimes it just won’t do the schedule…

I was one of the original backers on kickstarter (pre purchased eight units) and I really hoped this product would turn out to be quality. All I can say is that I’m more then half disappointed.While the hardware construction is actually quite nice, the app and the ecosystem around it is absolutely worthless. Many of the dialogues and notifications that pop up are still not in English, I have an enormous problem with Wifi connectivity dropping off, even when the units are placed directly next to the router itself. Additionally, while the units offer manual control via a push button, if you operate the blinds by the bling pull, the unit gets confused and things the blinds are in the opposite position. This is a problem for me as at night if my blinds have been left open, I can’t close them without using the motor, and thus risk waking my wife. Finally while there was promised an external API for the units, (to integrate into a home automation system) it still hasn’t been published yet, with no expectation set as to when it will be available.Finally I found their customer service to be abysmal. Emails often take a day to get a response and are in broken hard to understand English. When I requested a refund for the units given the fact that they failed to deliver on the promise of the units (public API) and requested a refund, they basically told me “not a chance”.So, I have eight of these units sitting in boxes if anybody wants to buy them. Meanwhile I’ll be waiting for the AXIS units to offer Wifi, ZWave, or Zigbee integration.

My biggest issue is the app and how Brunt interacts with Alexa. You have to say the exact words with the exact cadence and pitch in order for Brunt to work with Alexa. Even then, it’s a 50/50 shot. I have vertical blinds and I still have to say “raise/lower” in order for it to work. I have a looped string for the blinds and the string constantly slips. I’ve tightened it nearly as tight as a guitar string.
