Fix for missing Grid2 symbols.

Features: Smart Prompt Smart Prompt is a new online Grid command that helps you use AI to design your own communication tools. Just write a prompt (an instruction for AI) and Smart Prompt generates results that appear directly in the cells you choose. This isn’t an AI chatbot; it’s a flexible tool that makes Grid easier, faster, and more personal. You’re in control, tailor your prompts in Grid to craft messages in a way that reflects your writing style, vocabulary and communication preferences. Created as part of our ongoing research into how AI can enhance communication for AAC users, Smart Prompt is now available for everyone to experiment with and explore. Explore how you can use Smart Prompt to: Expand or simplify sentences Adjust sentences to be more formal / casual / playful Translate messages into different languages Generate suggested words or phrases for a particular topic or situation Build stories or creative content Provide quick information on a topic Smart Prompt is now included in an AI beta version of Text Talker. This is a beta grid set and we are keen to gather insights from you and learn more about how these tools work in practice and what you find useful. We believe AI should support communication, never control it. Smart Prompt has been designed so that you stay in charge at every step, giving AAC users the same opportunities to benefit from AI as everyone else, while protecting independence, voice, and identity. Updated Super Core grid sets in Danish including new vocabulary and improved localisations. Fixes: Fixed an issue where the analogue timer rotated in the anti-clockwise direction. Fixed an issue where the Evo camera firmware update would not start if a different firmware updater had previously failed. (Grid for Windows) Fixed an issue that caused the system to override the skin tone of real individuals. Fixed errors in the German Super Core grid sets. Fixed issues with Danish verbs in the database.

Updated printable resources We’re excited to share a major refresh to our printable resources, designed to make it easier than ever to access, print and use paper-based AAC boards based on some of our most-loved vocabularies. This update is available in Grid for Windows. With this release, these printable boards will be available in all the languages supported by the corresponding grid sets. All printable boards can now be found in the Printables section in the Add Grid Set window, available online. Updates to Super Core German We’ve made major improvements across the German versions of Super Core 50, Super Core 30, and the Learning grids. These updates strengthen vocabulary, symbols, grammar support, and overall ease of use. The result is a clearer, more accurate, and more flexible communication experience for German‑speaking users. Cell label alignment You can now align cell labels to the left or right, in addition to the existing centre alignment. This gives you more control over how your grid sets look and feel, making it easier to design layouts that match your communication style or visual preferences. Left and right alignment can help with organising information and improving readability, especially for longer labels or languages where directional layout matters. Accessible message box Grid now includes an accessible message box that appears as a pop‑up for important information, including consent gathering for online AI tools. The message box works with all access methods. Improvements Added an improvement allowing the timer “set” command to let users choose hours as well as minutes and seconds, so timers can be set for up to a full day. Previously, the timer could only be set for up to one hour. Added chat history files for Xhosa language (Grid for Windows) Updated onboarding screens to better explain how we share usage data (Grid for iPad) Added Portuguese (Brazilian) as an iOS locale (Grid for iPad) Minor changes in Super Core and Voco Chat in most languages Fixes Fixed an issue where ElevenLabs voices (version 2 multilingual models) didn’t pronounce numbers correctly Fixed an issue where the “speak as you type” title was cut off in German Fixed issue where Windows Smart App Control would prevent Grid from loading by signing all Grid dependencies Fixed an issue where if a special character was added to a write cell in edit mode, the grid set would crash Fixed bugs in accessible apps

- Fixed issue with cross-device passphrase protected user backups.

- Fixed restoring user backup that had a linked Smartbox account.

- Fixed Smartbox account signing in issue. - Fixed rare crash while rearranging grid sets.

- Fixed a crash when trying to edit a grid set. - Fixed a rare crash while using the Chat Switcher.

- Fixed an issue where the Find Word command was clearing the Chat Writing Area when a word was not found.

Bugfix: norwegian now recognised by image search

Chat Switcher We’ve implemented a new feature in Grid that allows you to toggle between two chat writing areas. This could be helpful for multitasking, whether you’re working on two conversations at once or returning to an earlier draft after an interruption. Password protection for user backups We’ve introduced a setting to add a password when creating a user backup. This optional setting allows you to secure your data and ensure that only those with the password can access the backup. Super Core Grid Set improvements We’ve made a number of improvements to all of our Super Core grid sets, including changes to styling and functionality, and even more vocabulary. Updated Widgit symbol library This update will include a huge update to the Widgit Symbols library, with improvements to existing symbols, and over 2,000 new symbols. This update gives Grid users access to a richer vocabulary across health, family, education, daily life, and more, making it easier to communicate about the things that matter most. Update to Adult Symbols in Grid We’re making an important update to the way that Grid handles symbols that contain adult content or refer to adult concepts. These changes are designed to protect younger symbol users, while also making sure that everyone has the words they need to communicate about their own bodies and experiences. We’ve introduced a clearer set of rules, inspired by age ratings used in films. This means decisions about which symbols are labelled as ‘adult symbols’ will now be much more consistent and understandable.

Moved the location of the Permanently Delete Account button to prevent erroneous use. Find Word command's inconsistent behaviour when paired with certain jump commands. Settings screen titles sometimes appearing over settings screen content.

Grid now includes support for Lithuanian, making it easier for more people to communicate in their preferred language. We've fixed an issue where changing a picture in Hebrew would remove any custom images. English search terms now correctly find Hebrew picture (pix) files, improving search accuracy for bilingual users.
