Thank you Wellbeyond - Like most 5-year-old boys, mine goes through phases with tons of energy. He's a super sweet boy, but of course he bounces off the walls from time to time. So it makes it worth the time to write this review to say how grateful I am that he LOVES to tie in to the short meditations before going to sleep at night. He loves the voices and seems to really enjoy slowing down and relaxing. The fact that he views it almost as "screen time" while getting the benefits of small bits of meditation is totally awesome. Good on you and thanks!

This is a cute app with great illustrations to help kids-or even adults-relax. However, it’s very difficult to get into the meditation because the narrator speaks too loudly, too quickly putting multiple words together at times, and sounds as though she is annoyed rather than calm and relaxed. Meditation should be soft and calm and relaxed in volume and tone. This app has none of that at all! I really wanted to love this app, but unfortunately I will use a different app. As a side note for anyone who does choose to use this app, the parental section of this app has a very weak barrier for kids. It just spells out four different numbers and gives you a key pad to type the numbers written out. Once that’s done, you’re in! This is how they try to prevent kids from getting into the parent section. However any kid over the age of 5 is going to be able to get past that in two seconds! I don’t know what they were thinking with that, but that’s not preventing any kid from getting in the parents section. Just a heads up for any parents out there!

My 4-year-old daughter asks to use this app regularly. In fact, she’s suggested meditation to other kids and has even used the kindness meditation at the park when she’s starting to feel overwhelmed. The different options (sleep, kindness, feelings, focus, and calm) and varied durations are very helpful for finding just the right meditation for the moment, and I’ve even used the sleep meditation to drift off myself!

My daughter and I have used this app as part of our bedtime routine for years. We were sad when a glitch in the update caused us to lose access to most of the meditations. Thank you, Wellbeyond for fixing this issue for us. We are glad that we can continue to enjoy this app as part of our quality family time.
