Do you want to create your own reactor and generate energy for an entire country? Or maybe you want to harness the electric power and sell it for a profit? Reactor allows you to do that and so much more in one of the most intense and one of a kind strategy games that you have ever played.
The premise in Reactor is very simple, you have to create power plants and generate as much electricity and heat as possible all while keeping everything under control and converting it into a lot of money. You will have to start off easy, with the help of small wind turbines that will generate a little electricity, enough to get your business going.
Then you have to focus on getting stuff like offices and more turbines, solar panels, generators, coal burners, and in the end you will have the ability to create your own reactor, be it a nuclear, thermonuclear or fusion reactor, something that is very important to keep an eye on. Reactors are by far the best if you want a great return on investment but they are also the less stable and you have to manage heat as they can easily become unstable.
With more than 10 maps to unlock and play, you will always have your hands full as you will try to figure out the best way to make insane profits and obtain a stellar result. You can play it safe and run a business that brings less but stable amounts of money, or you can check out alternative methods that are riskier but with a better return on investment.
Reactor is an astounding idle game, one that manages to bring in front extraordinary gameplay moments and stunning opportunities. It’s very fun to play and you can easily use it as an idle game, because resource production will take place even as you go away, which is even more exciting.
In Reactor you have all the power in your hands and it all comes down to you to make the right choice and take this one of a kind gameplay mechanic to new heights. With incredibly fun gameplay, nice mechanics and interesting choices, Reactor is the ultimate game that you want to play. UPDATE: When I wrote my review before I hadn't even realized that the game would let you prestige to additional runs. I'm now through 16 complete prestige runs. (I put the game down for months, though, after the first few.) A run now takes me less than 20 minutes. I still think the game is great, although progression is a bit odd at my level. (I only ever build two types of the offices and generators. I don't bother unlocking all of the islands because it just takes too long. I use at most three types of producers and use windmills until I place tokamaks.) The only additional thing that's bugged me is that building and demolishing so many buildings gets tedious. I really wish there was a "paint bucket"-style tool to fill/clear whole continents.I'm at the end: I've completed all research and I'm getting close to building dark energy reactors. I spent $0 on this game, though I've certainly watched a ton of ads. The game is compelling and one of the most interesting things was the need to constantly switch up the composition of your buildings as the phase of development changed at each research level. (Multiple generators per reactor to multiple reactors per generator.) Needless to say, I found the IAPs to be unnecessary for progress. My biggest heartbreak with the game was, in fact, the ads. Good news: they aren't intrusive and they're only going to pop up when you want the bonus they'll provide (which, in this case, you'll want basically always). Bad news: they're 'rude' and stupid at the same time. Your device is muted? They still play at full volume. (To add to the fun, they sometimes don't even have a mute button in the ad.) You're holding your device in portrait? Some will leave your screen black (and play noisily) until you turn your device. You're going to love this game and hate the ads.
Pretty good idler

I have completed all researches and opened all islands (except last of course) without paying anything in a few weeks. I had a good time playing this game which graphics is awesome. As side note I would mention that cost to upgrade for any power burner after coal burner is absurdly high, it is cheaper to develop and buy next generation of heat source. Also I didn't manage to use dark energy generator because it requires insanely priced upgrade even for ultra generator. It'a pity that progress goes four time slower when app is closed, game center looks broken too - it can't process such big numbers. But overall it is great game and in the end I bought an upgrade from dragon for real money just to support the developer. Thank you for the game and keep up the good work!
Fun Game, But Could Be Better
TexasIsKing
I’ve enjoyed the game and thoroughly like that the ads are optional for benefit; however, I do find parts of it very annoying. First, it would be nice to have a way to upgrade buildings without having to delete them and rebuild them. This can be a very tedious, time consuming process, especially as the map gets bigger. Second, the removal of trees and mountains, for the most part, is pointless. You can only click each one once an hour and it takes four clicks to remove one. You can easily finish the game well before you have removed enough of each to be noticeable, and they get reset when you prestige. There has got to be a better option. Third, fix the minor bugs. There are many times that watching an ad results in an error. If the ad is for a bonus, when the game is open, you have to watch another ad to get the bonus, but if the ad is to double you away-from-game bonus, you get an error and miss out on the bonus. Also, there are times when prior tree/mountain clicks are wiped out when the game is open the next time.
Only has one flaw

Okay so games pretty fun has a good progress rate… there is this mechanic to remove trees and mountains that is completely useless because of how much time and effort it takes to remove them and they don’t permanently get removed. This game would receive a 5 star rating if not for that mechanic. I would also like to say just how much the game has been interrupted by pop up advertisements. I’ve already spent well over 20$ on the game and they still want more… they won’t stop soliciting you until you purchase every single shop item. Which the game does deserve it but… why is there not a “do not show this again” option.
Bug fix - not every UI window opens correctly
