Has great benefits, I get cash back on almost every purchase, at checkout they automatically check for coupons to get you the best price possible. I made 2 purchases, checked my app and I saw that I had a $40 coupon to a store of my choice! You can also split the coupons between stores if you want too. My favorite part is when the capital one app noticing some things you were shopping for they tell you exact what cash back you would be getting on that purchase. For example I was looking at some new balances, the original price is 155 they gave me an offer for 30% cash back on that purchase! Love capital one shopping but…

As a previous review said it’s not great when shopping on your phone as many of us do. I am still able to shop in my apps to receive my rewards/points etc. I just make sure I am logged in and then I log into the accounts I am shopping in through capital one shopping. It’s an extra step that takes seconds so it doesn’t bother me. Your points etc will still be there. I find it is better to use the capital one shopping app while shopping on your iPhone. I installed the browser on my phone but it doesn’t seem to work most of the time even when I open it directly from the search bar. I have missed out on hundreds of dollars in rewards because of this. I try to remember to open the COS app now when I shop. I also find the rewards tend to be higher for some reason directly through the app than on the iPhone browser extension. I have done well with rewards and discounts. It would be nice if they could fix this issue but I still absolutely believe it is worth it. I have no issue with the browser extension on my computer. I have saved a couple thousand dollars since I began using COS even with the ones that didn’t go through. I also feel very safe using it. I am an extra cautious person so it took months of reading about it before I gave it a try. I’m so glad I did. Do yourself a favor and download this app. You will be too.

Awful Experience

I received an offer through Capital One Shopping for 30% an e-bike I had my eye on…a significant savings of about $540. I was careful to look and see if there were any restrictions or maximum benefits and there were none. I had the foresight to take screenshots of the offer as well as my order, just in case. After a week, I hadn’t received any cash back/rewards and nothing was even showing as pending. I contacted customer support and shared the screenshots and they told me I needed to wait 30 days for it to show up in my account. 30 days came and went and when I reached out again, they said my purchase wasn’t eligible. I directed them again of the pictures showing no restrictions for the exact purchase I had made. They said they would do a one time courtesy credit of some of the rewards but it was less than half of the sum that was advertised and by telling me I had to wait 30 days it took me out of the return window. I have asked for an explanation numerous times but they have not been able to show any evidence that this was an ineligible purchase and refuse to offer any other remedy. I will continue to contact them but wanted to put this review out there so others don’t get scammed by this bait and switch “service”
