Updated for new fares effective April 21, 2019. Clicking the Tips window now pops up a bigger version of the text for ease of viewing. Also a few minor behind-the-scenes improvements for stability.

Just some minor changes in this update. Thanks to feedback from users, there were some stations dropped in our prior version and we've added those back in. We also improved the algorithm for computing the best ticket to more effectively consider multiple weekly tickets in a month. Finally, you can find our privacy policy via Help-More-About (don't worry - we don't keep any data on you).

Not much to brag about in this version! Just some minor cosmetic changes thanks to suggestions from our great user base.

Metro-North fares change on January 1. This version has all the new fares for 2-click access. We also fixed some minor bugs.

We've added some great new changes to this version. First, it's ready for your new iPhone X. Second, the Peak/Off Peak indicator is now specific to your location, since Peak or Off Peak depends on your direction of travel AND the time of day. Finally, that Peak/Off peak indicator is now more seamless, changing the the label to either green or red for Off Peak or Peak, respectively. Enjoy!

Same great app, updated for IOS 11. Still the only app that tells you which of the many Metro-North railroad ticket combinations to buy based on how often you expect to take the train! More enhancements on the way too. Stay tuned!

New for version 1.4: - rewritten for iOS 10 - now supports 3D touch! iPhone 6s+ and higher users can hard press the Train Ticket Wizard icon to quickly look up a fare. You can't get a fare faster on any app or website. - fixed an issue where the peak/off-peak indicator wasn't correct for weekends. - Metro-North fares increase on December 1st 2016.
